It had been acting odd when I was using it earlier today during my workout--it was cycling through menu options by itself, almost like the menu button were being held down. I turned it off, and it powered down fine. When I turned it back on later, it got to the "SanDisk" logo screen and now it won't do anything. I can't turn it off. The display remains lit, and nothing happens when I push any buttons. I tried connecting it to my USB port, and it won't do anything. Thoughts?

Reset All NOTE: THIS IS AN ADVANCED OPERATION AND RESTORES ALL SETTINGS TO THE FACTORY DEFAULTS. NORMAL USERS ARE NOT RECOMMENDED TO PERFORM THIS OPERATION! If your device freezes up press the Menu button and hold for 15 seconds. This is like a power down of the device. Once you perform the reset, the adjustments you made during last operation will be gone.....
When the Sansa e260 is frozen, first try to reset the player.
How to reset the e200 series player:
1. Press and hold the Power/Menu button for approximately 20 seconds. 2. Release the Power/Menu button. 3. Press the Power/Menu button again to turn on the player.
When resetting does not solve the problem, a reinstallation of the
firmware should be performed.
Check to see if you have a boot file in one of the folders this is from starting the computer with the sansa connected if this doesn't work try to Reset All NOTE: THIS IS AN ADVANCED OPERATION AND RESTORES ALL SETTINGS TO THE FACTORY DEFAULTS. IF that doesn't work try to recover...download the update software and install then lock your sansa hold in the rec key on the left at the same time push the menu/power button this will take you to recovery mode then connect to the computer Star the update software if it doesn't start automatic goto /start /all programs /Sandisk/sansa updater/ sansa updater and start it up manually... follow instructions on the updater and the sansa hope this works.... Please rate I believe you already have the software/firmware
that happens to me too. i think the problem is that your computer can't like, sense that it's plugged in, so your battery's dying out, and the computer wont charge it
