Abs and hand brake light is on ... ?

It's not just hand break light , when the brake system master cylinder runs low on brake fluid , has a leak or the brake pads need to be replaced that light also comes on. And it will come on with the ABS light when a problem accrues. Problems can also happen when changing the battery with out hooking up an alternative power source > Battery Disconnect or Replacement Problems

What does the blue light in the corner of the screen mean

Sorry could not find the exact manual. however you can find it from this one as they ought to be similar
http://www.vivitar.com/files_products/1033/ViviCam_F124_Camera_Manual.pdf

It is called the METERING MENU - three modes (Centre; multi and SPOT). you are set for that spot. you can change that. see page 23

The Metering setting will affect how your camera focuses when capturing an image. Depending on your selection, the camera will be more sensitive to focusing on particular areas in the display and adjust the image color and lighting accordingly.
Center - Averages the light metered from the entire frame, but giving greater weight to the subject in the center
Multi - Used in standard conditions the camera divides and adjusts the settings of the image into several zones for light metering such as complex light conditions, position of subject, brightness, background, direct light and scenes
Spot - Meters the area within the spot point frame at the center of the LCD to set the exposure on the subject in the center of the monitor.

1) Press the M (MENU)/SET button to open the menus for the current mode.
2) Press the LEFT or RIGHT direction control buttons to scroll and select the chosen menu.
3) Press the UP or DOWN direction control buttons to scroll through the menu options.
4) Press the M (MENU)/SET button to select the desired option.
5) A selected option icon will appear on the selected item.
6) Press the LEFT or RIGHT button to select the next menu item. 7) Press the MODE button to exit the menu and return to your previous mode. 23
8) An icon reflecting your selection will display on the LCD screen 9) Remember that this setting will be saved by your camera until you manually change the setting or restore the camera?s default factory settings.

Nike Triax Fury works after replacing battery, but buttons wont work or change anything!

I had the same problem - replaced the battery of my Nike Triax Fury and the time was blinking and none of the buttons were working. Turns out that you need both springs placed in the proper spot - the silver and gold springs. Both springs can be placed in their proper spot with the batter in. The gold one goes in the tiny hole near the "view" spot, and the silver spring goes year the 'cage' that holds the battery in place accross from the gold spring. Good luck.aa07e646-2c11-45e3-b8fa-b40ec2fd82c2.jpg

I put new recharged batteries (Energizer ACCU rechargeable) on my BenQ DC 640 and noticed that the green light was flashing. When I went to the menu to change the mode, the left navigator key wasn't...

No, the batteries cannot make such problems. The problem may be with the navigator key itself. Try to remove the rear cover of camera and look under the navigator buttons. You must clean the mainboard and the buttons with alcohol and carefully remove any stain spots if exists. I have a similar camera and i observed that this type of camea are drawing a lot of current from the batteries so any battery i used died in under a year of moderate usage. My advice is to sell this camera and buy a quality Olimpus or Canon instead.

I just replaced the battery and now it won't let me set the watch, how do I do that?

mcdevito75 here, If you replaced the battery yourself you may have moved the quatrz movement and mis-aligned the buttons the thier contact spot on the quartz movement. You"ll have to open the back nd check by pushing gently on each button 1 at a time to make sure each button is makeing contact at the right spot on the quartz movement, also even if the battery is new it can still be weak or dead as they have a shelf life, also you may need the exact battery number Casio recommends, a small watch repair shop in your area can advise. The 2 buttons you need to set your watch are MODE and SET. --------- Press and maybe hold in the MODE button, 2--3 seconds, MODE button usually on the right side of watch caseing, see the display flashing, now press set to set each function, (hour, minute etc.) press MODE after ecah function is set, (hour, minute etc.) once everything is set, press MODE again to see steady display.

Konica Minolta Dimage S414

I have exactly the same problem, I'm guessing that the flash capacitor has died. I'm using the camera for outdoor work only at the moment, when I get desperate I might try taking the top off to see if I can find the capacitor.

Metering modes

There are three metering modes: Digital ESP, Center Weighted Averaging and Spot. DIGITAL ESP - The camera meters and calculates the light levels or light level differences in the center and other areas of the image separately. CENTER WEIGHTED AVERAGING - The metering mode provides the average metering between the subject and the background lighting, placing more weight on the subject at the center. SPOT - The camera meters a very small area around the center of the subject, defined by the spot metering area mark in the viewfinder.
