Not sure if you can remember your password for your Apple devices, but the above procedures are what I could locate.

Factory reset, this will take it back to as new.

Connect ipad to a PC, open itunes and factory reset or restore from there.

it's now in DFU mode and must be plugged up to the computer and connected to iTunes.

Go into the manual, and reset your net gear router. There is a procedure for (almost) every router, to reset it. Then you can reinstall the new security with a new password. You don't need a password, because it is an hardware action of something. Be aware all things that were connected, have to be connected again with the new settings.

The only way to unlock your iPad with a lock password, other than entering the passcode, is to restore your iPad to the original factory settings. However, all data on your iPad will be erased if you perform the factory setting restore. Therefore, you'd better back up your iPad data first when you plan to do it.

If you have synced your iPhone with iTunes before you forget your iPhone password, you can reset your iPhone by using iTunes without losing data. Through iTunes, you can restore your iPhone from the last backup and remove the passcode from your locked iPhone while retaining your data. If iTunes asks you to enter the passcode, try another computer. Otherwise, you have to follow the reset iPhone Passcode with Recovery Mode section below. Step 4. In the Summary window, you can see the option "Restore iPhone". Click it and follow prompts to choose the latest iTunes backup to restore your iPhone.

After the restoration process is complete, your passcode will be erased and all your data will be restored from your backup. You will now be able to access your iPhone without any passcode. And you can set your new password on iPhone.

You will need to restore the device if you cannot remember your password. Just connect the iPad to your computer, open iTunes and select the restore option. Be aware this will erase the data on the iPad, but as far as I know you cannot unlock it without the password.

Hopefully you have a recent backup and then can just put the data back once it's been restored.
