Oven just doesn't seem to be working right in the bake mode. Turn on - preheat button lights up and goes out, then start baking and the preheat light will come on again and the food never gets cooked. Read somewhere recently that the clock fuse is related. Not a digital clock, but one with hands. Clock has also stopped. Any info appreciated. Thanks

Unplug the stove. plug back in and program a short clean cycle. If this does not fix it is eithe the selector switch or the electronic control. Verifying the switch contacts with a meter is the only way to be sure.

check the main power terminal block and make sure the power is correct.if the power is correct then you will need to change the main control board.how ever unplug the unit and check all the wiring to the control board and the bake and broil elements.if the unit is gas then you may need to replace the ignitor unit if it does not draw enough power during the light up it will not open the gas valve.replace the main main control board still applies if the other items check out fine.
