Burner control not working

Hello Tom, thank you for your post!

I understand the burners on your Frigidaire range, FEF336BC, continue to stay on. Try resetting the unit by either unplugging it or flipping the household breaker to the off position. Wait approximately ten minutes and then turn on your range. If these troubleshooting steps prove ineffective, you may wish to contact a professional as your range may possibly have a potential wiring failure, faulty EOC (electronic oven control) or burners.

2 burners not working, display or oven not working

Hello - I understand that the range has no display and experiencing issues with the burners not working. Please try resetting the unit by either unplugging it or flipping the breaker off. Wait approximately ten minutes and turn the unit back on. Try setting the time and if it proves to be ineffective, the unit may possibly have a faulty EOC, defective wiring harness, or damaged cord. I would suggest contacting a professional to move forward accurately.

Frigidaire professional series gas stove does not light. When handle is turned the "clicking" sound happens, with the smell of gas but no flame. what could be problem? 3 other burners work...

A few months ago I lost one igniter on the left front burner. It clicks and gas flows but wont ignite. Now when I turn on the left back burner, the gas still flows but I hear clicking on the right side, not from that burner. It wont light either.

Frigidaire ceramic cooktop burner turned on by itself

It is the burner control (behind the knob). The triac in the control has failed. $50 item, 10 minute change. Just make note which wire goes to which terminal.

I doubt that it is the control board, as the board has little to do with the stove top, but rather controls the display and the oven temperature/feedback monitoring.

Hope this helps.

Stove won't heat

Oven was working, I had it on pre-heat, then I turned on the stove top, but the burners won't heat. When I turn on the stove top the stove makes a short BUZZ noise and the clock area lights up, when the burner is turned off all the lights go out. Please help, food prepared.
Thank You

Burner will not turn off

You'll need to replace the burner switch. This happens when the contacts become fused together.
