SOURCE: hands on lacrosse atomic clock won't stop spinning.

remove everything to get to the hands, remove the top hands only leaving the one, carefully apply crazy glue (tiniest sliver) to the hand where it meets the shaft. Adjust that hand for one minute after the current time. wait about 15 seconds between each hand. Apply the others remembering to set the others to the exact time. let it dry and you should be done.

SOURCE: How do you manually reset a Lacrosse Atomic Clock.

There are many LaCrosse atomic clocks. Which model do you have? Support for most is available here: http://www.lacrossetechnology.com/support/home.php . Use the drop down menu to select the model.

For the analog clocks, there is a manual set button on the back of the clock. Press the button and wait for the clock to advance to the correct time. Then make sure the correct time zone button has been pushed. Then make sure the clock is in a location where it can hear the signal overnight. (For best results stand the clock upright in a window.)

For WT-2165U travel alarm, press and hold Set to enter the setting function. Then select the time zone (with + or -) then press and release Set. Set the DST setting to on or off as needed, then press and release Set again. The next setting option is the snooze alarm duration. Press and release Set again to change the hour manually (+ to increase). Press and release Set again to set the Minutes. Correct the date (year, month, day, day of week) similarly. Then set the display to 12 or 24 hour time. Press and release Set to finish and exit the set functions.

For some of the digital clocks you can set the time manually by pressing and holding Set. First set the time display mode (12/24), then press and release Set again. Then set the hours, followed by Set and then the minutes. Continue through other menu options or just do not press any buttons for several (30) seconds.

On the digital clocks, the item being changed will flash.

To avoid interference with the signal reception, place your radio controlled clock where it will be at least six feet away from a TV, computer, air conditioner or other household electrical appliances. The optimal location is near a window. Windows facing Colorado providing the best signal.

I hope this helps.

SOURCE: how to set an atomic alarm clock

Hello
I've the proceedings to setup the atomic clock, but this window does not allow me to send it by copying and paste the document, as it is out of this window's capacity. If you send your email address to me by Fixya comment box, I'll send a copy of it to you by return mail. OK.

Need instructions to manually reset time on Lacross atomic clock model 513-149

Hello, Donna -

I hope I am correct in thinking you do not have the user's manual for the clock. If so, you can find a PDF document of the manual (free) here:
http://office.manualsonline.com/manuals/mfg/la_crosse_technology/513149.html

You will need Adobe Reader software to open the PDF document, download it, save it to a file in your Documents folder (I suggest you name the saved file something like LaCross Atomic Clock Manual), and print it for easy reference.

The second hand on our LaCrosse atomic clock has stopped moving but the clock continues to keep perfect time. How do we get the second hand turning again?

The manual for one of their clocks says the clock will change the second hand to two-second intervals to conserve energy when the battery voltage gets low. Perhaps your battery is VERY low.
