SOURCE: remote has quit working

you can go to bestbuy.com and at the bottom of page you can click on order parts and follow prompts to order original remote or you can call 1888bestbuy and ask for someone in parts dept. If not through bestbuy parts you can call 1800remotes. You need model number of system if you go through either company for original remote.

SOURCE: my samsung HT-TZ512 home theater

Do what I do for every piece of electronic equipment I own, especially remote controls. Go to the manufacturer's Website and the go to support and download the user manual in PDF format and save it to your MY Documents file or whereever.

SOURCE: all of a sudden my systems remote doesnt work

Try replacing the batteries in the remote first. If this doesn't work it is very likely that you just need to replace the remote.

SOURCE: how can i get a replacement front speaker for a

Look at the back of the speaker that you're replacing for a label. You can replace it with any speaker that exactly matches the ohm rating (a number with a little upside-down horseshoe next to it) and that meets or exceeds the wattage (a different number with a "w" next to it).

SOURCE: I just want to know if I can connect my laptop to

Yes you can and it is very simple. All you need is a special wire. One end fits to the earphone jack on the laptop, and the other end looks like rca cable. At the back of your home theater choose aux in, and connect the rca end of the cable to that. Then the other end looks like a headphone jack, and you connect that to the laptop headphone jack. Now on you home theater select aux. You will everything that comeout of that laptop including the windows vista melody when you first boot it up. Now you are ready to enjoy music.

Which universal remote will operate every aspect of my dav-ex150 sony home theater system? Would like to adjust the settings for the speakers. As of now I only have sound coming from sub woofer and front...

Hello,

On your receiver you should have a 'surround mode' and a 'display mode' which activate the surround speakers. If you are not in a 'mode' just the 'left', 'right' and 'sub' speakers will work. As for a remote, many of the newer receivers can be controlled via 'App' through a phone or tablet.
I hope this helps

The front speakers are the base against which you adjust everything else.

Adjust the front rear balance for 0dB.

Readjust the rest of the speakers using the test tones. Normal audio may not have a lot going on back there.

Just bought a Philips home theatre system HTS3544 low sound?

You may also need to change the speaker set up. Go to DISC setting (one of the top selections on the remote) make sure you have no Disc in the DVD player. When in this mode press setup on the remote. On this menu you will have a option to adjust the speaker volume.

I had to increase my speaker volumes to get better sound. This setting is not accessible if you try to do the set up in other than DISC setting. Be sure to check the SURROUND setting. The SURROUND button on the remote will toggle between stereo and surround as stated in a previous post.

Bose home theater

It may not have bass and treble controls, since most newer TV's now have these adjustments. Play around with your TV and see if you can find bass and treble adjustments from the remote.

Swa3000

  1. With the home theater system off, press and hold the REMAIN button on the home theater's remote control for 5 seconds.
Note: You can release the REMAIN button when the POWER LED blinks blue/Red depending on model.
  2. With the SWA-3000 turned on, use a ball point pen to press the RESET button on the back of the SWA-3000. The POWER LED in the front of the home theater blinks two times.
