There should be a problem with the operating system of your phone, please take a back up of your phone and i recommend you to update the software of phone using motorola phone tools or by simply visiting motorola website, this usually process of updating usually takes 20-30mins, but you will be assured with the perfectly running cell phone.

you should try and ahve the firmware updated by using your MPT software that comes with the phone....or take it into a mobile service center and have them fix it for you.
