How long have you had it? Just call Verizon and you can get a warranty replacement if it's been under a year. Sounds like a manufacturers defect to me.
With the same question about the lg VN251 What if i cant remember my phone number to know what the 4 digit password on the lock code would be? Any way to bypass it all?
Your gonna have to contact Verizon and tell them what happened. Be prepared to give them all your account info including the serial mumber of your phone which can be found in the battery compartment possibly under the battery listed as as serial or ESI number. Next time use a password thats easy for u to remember or write it down somewhere!
The same thing happened to my Gz One Boulder. I sent it back to Verizon for replacement. The 2nd Gz One Boulder also had problems with the charging port within 2 weeks after I got it so I sent it back too.
I am now on my 3rd Gz One Boulder. I've only had it 2 days. Time will tell if the charging port on this one will hold up. Frankly I doubt it.
My best advise to you is get a different phone if you have the opportunity to do so.
Go to settings and tools, then phone settings, the security.....then the password should be the last 4 digits of your phone number. Then you would go to Restore Phone.
I've been messing with this darn thing all day....and you know what? Verizon can shove it with their greedy **** if you ask me. This phone has hardly ANY support, just a bunch of hype. And you cannot do any customization to it whatsoever like one should be able to with electronic equipment, but it's all locked up so Verizon can get you to replace all their crappy ringtones and so on by buying some more. BUYBUYBUYBUYBUYBUYBUYBUYBUYBUYBUY, thats all I see. I comes with nothing but lame **** on purpose. BUYBUYBUYBUYBUYBUY!
