I have a Panasonic Viera 3D Plasma TV. While watching it I heard a small pop and then no picture. When trying to turn it on again it began to blink (over time I counted 10 blinks per pause). In many of the forums I have read they recommend to open the back and carefully clean and removed dust and then plug back in and turn it back on. If that didn't work to hold it down and reset it. Having done that several times and not having success I find myself wondering if it is worth bringing it into a tv shop or even buying a replacement part for what ever needs replacing. With this 10 blinking signal what would I need to replace? and how would I go about it? Is it an easy enough to do it yourself or is it too complicated?

are you using a PC to feed a signal or maybe a cable with an adapter?
I had the same issue when I used one of the rear HDMI ports to show a PC display. Apparently there is a software difference between the rear and side/front ports. Inputting the PC through the side HDMI port has solved the problem for me (so far!)

if you have a warranty let them check it out before opening the panels, it may void it.... may be an internal power short.

SOURCE: 10 red blinking lights on my Panasonic Plasma TV,
This is a power supply issue - found a company that has used power supplies, they sell them for $60.00. We recommend a professional install the board because the voltage needs to be adjusted after the install or you could damage something else. The high voltage in the set can KILL you soe be very careful. The web address for the PS board is plasmafix.com.
