My bowl on the 2346 model will not turn anymore how to fix

Some lubrication might be in order. Grease will dry out and cake so it won't lubricate what it's meant to.

This is typical of Sunbeam mixers. The solution is to throw that piece of junk out and never buy anything from Sunbeam again. They can't stand behind their products because they know they are junk. They would go out of business if they tried to repair/replace all of the useless appliances they sell.

I believe that this particular model is supposed to have the bowl mix separately. I have removed the black piece from the bottom of the larger bowl in order to allow manual spinning. If I am able to figure out how to fix the bowl spinner I will make another post.

I just took mine apart for this same issue. What i found was the plastic beater drive gears have been stripped by the motor worm gear. I am currently looking for these parts to replace them.

Don't know a solution, because I am having the same damn problem.
I am very discouraged with this product.
It is a piece of ****.
I am thinking about taking it out back and shooting it with my 270 I bought.
That is the only solution I know.

the spinning plate under the bowl does not have any power to spin the bowl; it only aks as a "lazy susan" carousel that allows the bowl to turn from the movement of the material being wipped in the bowl.
the beaters are purposely off-center of the bowl in ordwer to create a dragging motion of the material in the bowl, thus pulling (that is, spinning) the bowl slowly. If the beaters are not off to the side of the bowl, you will not get the pulling/spinning motion. Also, if the plate under the bowl does not move very easily, then the bowl will not spin. You may have to remove the spin plate and clean the center pivot for the plate to move freely. Good Luck, Macgivor.

Make sure the bowl is off to the side. I wouldn't get rid of a mixer just because the bowl doest't, if it's a good powerful mixer. There aren't many replacement parts available except directly from sunbeam. You need to get a replacement motor for the bowl turntable.

The beaters might be fixable/replaceable but the bowl not spinning anymore is the more serious of the 2 problems. If this is several years old iit probably is more cost efective/simpler to replace the whole unit.

You should try to replace the beater turners or try to fix the problem that causes the beater turners not to work.

did you mean model 2346? If you did, I am having same problem
