Can't get rid of ventilate message on titanium plus machine
I have tried the solutions suggested on this forum (switch off, release steam...) but no steam releases. I just get a message to close steam valve and the ventilate message re-appears.

Try this, after opening hot water valve, push the knob in when it asks for ventilate. If that works then contact your nearest gaggia distrubutor and ask for a new stainless steel steam valve assembly.

You need to push the hot water button on the machine panel to allow water to run out of the steam wand. After a few seconds the machines ventilate message should clear.

Try this run the hot water cycle for a few seconds, it that works, try steaming if you get the message again clear it by running the hot water cycle and then go to steaming, this time push in on the knob after you open it, it that works, then the tap rod or the valve assembly needs to be replaced.
The top right hand side can get hot if you have the cup warmer switched on. I am finding that the steam boilers are starting to block up and the steam lines are getting scaled up. If you have access to compressed air, undo the boiler and lines and blow them out. I have had coffee jammed in the inlet of the flow meter, blowing through it will be a good test. Good luck
Press the hot water button and allow water to flow from the steam arm until ventilate disappears and warming up appears on the display. Ventilate after descale is normal.
Try this, when the message comes up press in on the steam knob, if that works and steam is released, then the tap rod on the steam valve has a problem, contact nearest dealer for new part or send it in for repair(ask for new style stainless steel valve).
