I had the same problem where I'm logged into XBox Live and I couldn't get into the EA servers to play any EA games. This is what worked for me:
1. Hit the XBox button and Log out of XBox live.
2. Go to the Settings tab and select System Settings.
3. Choose Console Settings then Clock.
4. Choose Daylight Savings and set this to OFF and back out.
5. Log back into XBox Live and the time will be set automatically.
6. Start you EA Game and Have Fun!!!
When EA sports server for Madden 2008 or 2008 is down. Here is a SOLUTION. It may not be the best solution, but what else can we do????? HURRY UP AND WAIT.
First people pay a fortune for the console, then an arm and a leg for the FREAKIN EA games. We don't have access to the server or to EA sports.
So, WAIT. JUST WAIT UNTIL EA get off their LAZY %#$@$
Has anyone encountered the problem where you are able to login, get into the lobbies, etc. but when someone invites you to a game and you accept it opens up but only shows your team....the other team does not appear to be in the room, even though they are? Does anyone have a solution for that because it's very irritating. Any tips would be greatly appreciated.

I try to play a game of madden against two of my friends we send the invite then i show up as the redskins and they always show up as the falcons then it will kick us both out the only thing that is similar is that they both have verizon wireless home internet and i have time warner
Ea servers and anyone who works or upgrades and fixes them should be immediatly fired, what a sham ea is thats for sure, you pay all this money for a product of theirs and they cannot for the life of me figure out how to get their servers to allow you to play online, every other game manufacturer doesnt seem to have any problems letting you hook up to their server and play online and ea with all thier cash cant get a fu--ing clue,,,,,, what a company they should be ashamed of themselves those hacks

Checkout isitdownrightnow.com. EA servers say cannot connect but it's mostly down to weak connections, total pain in the AAA. There are steps to better your connection (Google EA server down ) but other than that..bite it. Thanks EA, mother truckers!!

If all you really need to do is add a picture, you may be able to do
that from http://www.easportsworld.com after logging in on that site.
I have not personally seen this problem, but that would be the first place I would check.

One of my customers had the EXACT same problem. We initally thought it was the EA servers, but it turns out all he needed to do was "power cycle" all his electronics. So, try unplugging your router first. Wait 30 seconds, then plug it back in. Going thusly to your modem, console, and so on... Give it a shot, bro. It beats shaking your fist at your PS3!

Exact sma eproblem wont connect to EA servers while trying to play fight night round 3 for the PS3, "it wsays they are currently unavailable and its been doing this for well over a week. Same freaking problem. I only disconnected and reconnected at another house. No config changes at all and this happens. It really sucks that there is no solution out there. It seems to be a big problem as most of you will agree.

Never had this type problem before... I can log in, but then I get a message that says,
YOU HAVE BEEN DISCONNECTED FROM THE MADDEN SERVER, WOULD YOU LIKE TO RECONNECT?
Or I can log in, enter the lobby, but as soon as I try to go into the room, it freezes, then asks me the same question again, would I like to reconnect?
I contacted EA, they had me download a trace utility. I found 47% packet loss, EA says its Verizons server thats causing the problem.. I contact Verizon, they fix it on their end. Now I have 100% packet loss on what is clearly an EA server. I contact EA again, they give me some BS run around and told me to contact Sony... WTFK???
Maybe they are tryng to tell me they don't want me spending $50.00 a year for the new Madden releases. Or $500.00 for the new sony console.

Cannot get online got a new modem (motorolla wireless) the ethernet ceble plugged in to ps2, and computer on wireless. I erased my ea login on the memory card and now i cant get back online. I've put the startup disc back in and went through it to set everything back up. Still a problem. My friend has an old model ps2 and I have the slim. Does the disc have anything thing to do with it being diferent year models

I'm having major issues with my xbox 360 NBAlive08?? I had no problems before with online game play but about a month ago, every time i try to play team play now, the game play is very sluggish, laggy, or choppy, players are moving slower than normal and actions are delayed! AND IT IS NOT, NOT, my internet provider I have high speed and they have tested it, I called Xbox support and they tried to help but ultimately told me oh its the EA servers being overcrowed and that I need to wait until school starts back in 2 weeks to see if that will make a difference?? So I'm suppose to wait for another 2 weeks to see if my game will work properly again, I like most people bought my 360 for the sports games and who makes most of the sports game EAAAAAAAAAAA, so EAAAAAAAAAAAA needs to get better servers or do something so I can play my freakin game again. I have madden 06 on ps2. I have internet acces, the game says my connection is good when tested, but when i try to log on to ea it says login failed.

I have Fios high speed internet. I can play Fight Night Round 3 online for PS2. But when I go online with my new Madden 09' game I get disconnected a minute or less from the EA Server. I am completely not sure why I am seeing this occur. My signal is good, but my speed does fluctuate on occasion. I have the proper ports open, but have taken my Norton firewall "down," as well as the windows firewall. Whenever I have taken the firewalls down EA still disconnects me. I was thinking that maybe it was something with my verizon service and equiment but then why am I able to play fight night no problem.
In addition to all of this I have taken my PS2 and Madden 09' to a friends house that has high speed internet and plays online with his PS3. We hooked my PS2 equipment to his online router and proceeded online. Well, I didn't get disconnected. I played a game from start to finish. So I don't know what else to do. Is it my fios service? Or is it my EA game and account?
I thought from the beginning it was an EA problem because the disconnect said the EA server has disconnected you. Would you like to try again? I can get in to the the Madden 09' lobby and can find someone to play against, but it always disconnects!!! But if the problem was a verizon issue then why can I go online at my PC? Why can I go online with fight night?
