Mechanical clocks need periodic servicing. After so many years, even a well treated clock will have internal oil congeal and cause the clock to not run. I suspect your clock needs to be cleaned and rejoined to run properly.

Kliks Clocks
You can try to reset the microprocessor by running the Clock/Radio with out the battery in. If this works buy a new battery (CR2430) and see if the Clock/Radio functions return to normal. If this does not reset the microprocessor , you will be out of luck with this Clock/Radio. It has had some damage done to the microprocessor and cannot be repair. Emerson does not provide out of warranty repair service. What this mean to you is that there is no support for this product. This means there are no parts or service information to do the repairs with. If the Clock/Radio could be repaired, the repair cost would probably cost you more than the cost of buying a new Clock/Radio. I am sorry to give the bad new. In this day and age of short production run items, it is cheaper for the manufacturer to sell you a new product then repair the older one. I hope this information has help you with the problem you are having with your Clock/Radio.
