The tablet connection requires the password be input in order to make a connection to the WiFi. Look at the Router's label for the passcode and write it down. Insert the code into the command line in Open Network Sharing (command line). Once you have permission, it should work.
Log on to your wireless router and set a password. Look up the user manual to know how to connect to the user interface through your browser (webGUI) and what the default username and password combination is (if you haven't changed this).
Are you able to search the connection in the available connection. If yes then do post what error message prompts when you try to connect it. Check the encryption settings of your router if they are compatibly with the smartphone. I suggest to chooses WPA/WPA2 and also make sure broadcasting mode is set to b/g/n mix mode.
