MF 135 3 cylinder Perkins motor. The engine sounds to be missing when under no load; under load she sounds to be firing satisfactorily. The injectors have been serviced and are said to be fine. The sounds do not ring true to me - am I correct? If so what do you consider is the problem? Could this be the injector pump and if so is it worth overhauling the existing pump or getting a new one (prices seem to favour the purchase of a new one here in Australia - OEM vs aftermarket etc).
Any engine runs better doing what its built for, but it should not be very noticeable. If you are familiar with this engine, then I would tend to go with your instincts. The injector timing is a likely cause and could be supplying more fuel than you need creating a laboured combustion which evens out under load.
Perkins parts were found everyware around western Australia 20 years ago and were cheap, I'm a bit out of touch on that aspect these days, but they are worth the effort, you should try to find some old school farmers around to speak with, they often have golden and unique solutions.

you may need to perform a leak down test to the cyliner and maybe you may have carbon on that valve. make sure the new spark plug wire has the correct continiuty

At the time you made all the above repairs, did you replace the "throw away" turbo charger? The turbo charger commonly sucks oil, and it is not repairable.
Run it without the inner & outer air cleaner. If it isn't the turbo, run the injector cut out test. If the injectors are ok, then you need to replace the injection system hydraulic pump, which is also unrepairable.

sounds like its breaking down, check your ignition system, test your leads, check your plugs, check your ignition coils etc etc etc.
Testimonial: "Proof in the pudding - the engines performance has totally changed with a simple but hidden leak in the intake manifold area ( now sealed ) ."
