Indoor unit fan blows, then stops etc. every 1-2 minutes

We just installed a new unit. We understand there is an inverter on the main compressor that cycles up and down to save on electric. But on our Indoor Unit - the fan keeps cycling/blowing on and off every 30 sec. or 1 minute, sometimes maybe 2 minutes. It\'s annoying almost like torture - I rather have the fan just blow for extended period than hear this fan blow stop/start all the time. Is this normal behavior for these units? if not, what should we check on? No error lights show and we\'ve tried different settings on remote - and it is cooling nicely.

At least it is cooling properly. U might just want to call Mitsubishi and ask them if it is operating normally based on your observations.

Everything works but the fan will not turn. I recently performed a thorough cleaning and installed a new ozone filter, but the fan will not turn. I tried turning the fan manually and the unit would run...

The fan needs oiling (except for the Fresh Air, which has sealed bearings and no removable front grid). I need to know which model you have to help you reach the fan shaft. However, if you're handy, you can figure it out. Remove the front grid (if there is one on your model) and pull off the fan blades. Use a light household oil (sewing machine, hair clipper, 3-in-1) to drip down the shaft as you turn it manually. This should take care of the problem.
If not, and if you need more extensive repairs or rebuilding, call Vollara (new name for EcoQuest) customer service at 1-800-989-2299 and use 16618 as your dealer referral number.

How do i clean a lasko tower fan model 2551 as it is dusty inside

best is if you have an air compressor and blow it out, if not, a paintbrush and vacuum will do. remove grill/cover if you have to. make sure unit is un plugged.

My Ionic Pro Turbo air purifier is blowing air in intervals of 30 seconds, blows for 30 seconds then stops for 10 sec. then repeats. Is this normal or do I have a defective unit? Thanks, Jerry

Have you cleaned the unit good and made sure that there is nothing crossing the grid wires? It sounds as if it is cutting off and resetting for some reason. Mine runs continuously. I take an air compressor and blow mine out every time I clean it. Also, on some models, you have to hold the on button down for several seconds to reset it after cleaning. Hope this helps.

CENTRAL AIR UNIT IS NOT BLOWING INSIDE BUT THE COMPRESSOR OUTSIDE IS RUNNING. WHEN I GO DOWN TO THE BASEMENT TO CHECK THE FILTER-THE BOTTOM OF THE UNIT AND THE FILTER IS WATER LOGGED. ORIGINALLY IT WAS...

There may be a leak. You might try shutting it down and taking a look inside. On the other end, there may be something wrong with your components inside. The compressor outside is to provide coolant. Inside, the fans actually cool the air. Make sure all doors are on the blower downstairs, and if all else fails, call a technician. Good luck!

Unit stopped working. Do you have a customer service number for the Ionic Breeze company?

1-800-344-5555 or at [email protected] however they're unlikely to reply. I understand that they've gone bankrupt.
