I had the same problem with my 2014 RS5. The solution was to keep pressing and releasing the gate remote until it was picked up by the Audi, instead of just pressing and holding the gate remote button. My gate has a Mighty Mule gate opener but the remotes are the same for most makes of gates.

Its kinda hard but if you follow the info in the owners manual for your truck it works. It is not rolling code like a gargae door this is a dip switch on or off .

Hi,If you want to fix the problem you can try to reinstall the application. If you just want to disable the message you can try this:
1. Go to Start Up \ Run command and type: msconfig then press Enter. 2. Go to Windows StartUp and search the item with this string: "C:/Program Files/Sony/VAIO Gate/VAIO Gate.exe" and remove the check. Then Apply and Close.

Check with the management office for your gated community and ask your questions. There may be a specific gate opener you need and a specific code, which the management staff will provide.

the elite does not have that function, your are going to need to look for a time clock that holds open your gate...... the outside phone system or a programmable time clock that has been added to your gate...... oh this is an old post sorry. :)
