Hook up the transmitter piece that came with the headphones (the one where you store and charge the headphones) to the audio output on the back of your TV.

SOURCE: need help with HO 800sentry dynamic wireless headphone?

You need to plug in the RCA plugs (red and white) to your cable receiver box and NOT the TV outlet.
If you have satelite box, it's the same thing. It has two sets of audio-out and one of them goes to your TV and the other set may be free.
If not, goto Radio Shack and get a SPLITTER so you can plug in the headphone set.

However, these headphones... I have one, may not be all that good quality and reliable.

Cant hear very good. looking for speakers wireless if possible to put by me so i can hear what there saying on my tv

There are a number of wireless speakers available from moderately expensive to Ouch, painfull. Sonos is one brand that springs to mind.
Wireless headphones are also available.

As you don't hear very well, there are probably other things apart from the tv you would like to hear. If a hearing aid or personal amplifier is out of the question you might wish to consider an FM transmitter. I sometimes use one with my computer so I can listen to my audio files wherever I am at home or work simply by tuning in any FM radio.

There are rather bigger and more powerful FM transmitters available intended to accept input from almost any audio device and transmit over a slightly larger area, again to receive simply tune in an FM radio.

Soundlogic XT 5 in 1 wireless headphones will not receive audio from tv; only gets radio stations.

Did you connect the base/transmitter piece to the AUDIO OUT jacks on the back of the TV ? The radio you are listening to is the built-in FM radio/tuner. You need to connect the transmitter to an audio source (TV, PC, CD/DVD player, etc.) to receive sound from that source.

How do I use the wireless headphones without the rest of the system

You cannot, unless they have an FM radio/tuner built-in (as some of them do), in which case you can put them on and listen to the radio through them.

No audio from TV through Wireless Headphone

Unfortunately, this product has a reputation for unreliable operation. Many Amazon users report that they can't get it to work with their TVs. To isolate the problem, try plugging a good set of wired headphones into your television; if you hear nothing, then the TV is at fault. Otherwise, try plugging a different, known-good adapter cable into the TV. If you still don't get sound, then the Genica is broken.

Super Boss FM HI-FI Wireless Headphone SF878 no sound from the tv

Hi - the tv sound will be picked up like an fm radio signal at 83 mhz. To get there, press the reset button the side of the headphones, then press scan. the first signal to be picked up will be the tv signal. This assumes, of course that you have fresh batteries in the transmitter and headphones, and that the volume is turned up on the headphones and the TV. Worked for me. The signal is not stereo, though.

The service may not be available in your area. Make sure the headphones are connected to the player when searching for radio stations: Here's pg 15 of the user manual:
