The Samsung DVD Remote quits controlling the player after the movie starts, yet the Samsung TV Remote will perform its basic play and pause functions. Seems to have something to do with the Wiselink connection with my Samsung DLP TV. After movie completes, the DVD locks up for a time; the DVD won't eject nor will the player power down.
Try to reset the blu ray player's remote control.
Remove the batteries and hold down the POWER button on it for 30 seconds.
Then replace the batteries with fresh ones
