Id say even though you think your air induction valves are closed they in fact are not , if all the jets get air in them look for leaks in pump or piping this might be more evedent if run slow or off as pump cant suck air in hole if its off , if not air induction valves can be rebuilt by obtaining the parts from mfg

SOURCE: High speed spa pump shuts off

The motor may have a thermal cutoff if the motor draws too much current. Do you have a sufficient large gauge circuit supplying the motore? If not the actual voltage at the motor may drop, causing it to draw more current to make up for the loss of voltage, thereby tripping the motor's protective breaker. I assume the motor will start again after serveral minutes of cooling down.

SOURCE: What does SF mean on pool and spa pumps?

SF stands for Service Factor. It has to do with how much overload your motor can handle without damage. Here is some information about it:

You should not be feeling any "trickle" of electricity. You are correct...it is NOT SAFE! I would definitely have another qualified electrician check your wiring out.

Thanks for using Fixya.

SOURCE: lay z spa water pump is faulty where can I get a

Hi Im Chris From BVL Elecric,
I cover Bournemouth and surrounding areas and supply solutions to most home electrical problems.
A lovely lady customer called me out today to diagnose faulty
LAY-Z-SPA
pump/heater that kept tripping the RCD.
After scouring the net and finding this same problem over and over again but no solution,I decided to get personal with the blighter!!!
RESULT:- problem solved,
Customer very happy,
no new parts fitted,
water heating fine now.
If you live in my coverage area, have a LAY-Z-SPA that is faulty,no or limited warranty then give me a ring and I will be only to happy to come on over and fix it for a small fee.
just think that dead spa/pool heater/pump could be heating your water again tomorrow and there is plenty of summer left to enjoy it.
You can find my details quite easily , just google BVL Electric Bournemouth

TO SEE IF YOU HAVE A RESTRICTION IN YOUR LINE OR LINES ,USE A SHOP VAC TO **** AND BLOW THE LINES IN AND OUT.. THESE BLOWERS ARE HELD IN USUALLY WITH ONE SCREW AND ARE EASY TO REPLACE ONE MORE CHECK 4 YA IS, THERE MIGHT BE A CHECK VALVE INLINE ON THE BLOWER , IT MAY BE BAD . BEST WAY TO CHECK IS TURN THE BLOWER ON FIRST , THEN TURN THE WATER PUMP ON.. HEY IF'N I WAS OF HELP GIVE ME A REVIEW OR A THUMB.. JAY YOUR LOCAL POOL PUMP WHISPERER IN FLORIDA

Bubbles are not working on the right side of the foot spa

Depends on how the jet is set up. Many use a venturi device that pulls air through it as water runs out the jet. Many times people will stick their fingers in the jets and knock the venturi out of place preventing the air from being drawn out. If unit has an air pump, I would check for blocked lines.

Have a dreamaker X-500 Only get air on one side out of my jets. Steve

Either an air line has become disconnected, or the air valve on the spa is clogged/broke.
If this is a blower model and not a venturi tee air injection system, the lines on the one side probably blew off.
