You have to ensure you have sufficient funds in your PayPal account to cover the cost of the purchase.

SOURCE: If I purchase goods through my Pay Pal account and

i would recommend using a credit card that way it is easier to obtain a refund through your bank than it would be via paypal. Be very careful using paypal i have had them rip my off charging my credit card and i am not even a member!! At least it was very easy to get my money back and my bank suggested i get a direct debit credit card and have a zero balance only putting funds into that card when i want to make a purchase. Desputing funds through the bank is a simple and relatively quick process but paypal a gamble indeed. Hope i helped.

SOURCE: change my reference credit card on pay pal

As per Paypal:
Question : Can I register a credit card on more than one PayPal account?
Answer : No. For your security, you can register a credit card on just one PayPal account at a time. You may, however, register several different credit cards on a single PayPal account.

If your credit card was registered to a different PayPal account, you need to log in to the previous account and remove the card before adding it to your new account. To remove credit cards from your account click Profile at the top of the page and click the Credit/Debit Cards link in the Financial Information column.
Question : What if I forgot my email address?
Answer :

  1. Go to the PayPal homepage and click Problem with login?.
  2. Click I don’t know what email address I used.
  3. Enter up to 3 email addresses you might have used to sign up for your PayPal account.
  4. Enter the code shown in the image.
  5. Click Continue and follow the instructions.

Question : What if I forgot my password or my password has been locked?
Answer : Here's how to create a new password.
  1. Go to the PayPal homepage and click Problem with login?
  2. Select one of the following:
    • If you know your email address, click I don’t know my password. Then enter your email address.
    • If you don’t know your email address, click I don’t know either one. Enter up to 3 email addresses you might have used to sign up for your PayPal account.
  3. Enter the code shown in the image.
  4. Click Continue and follow the instructions.

SOURCE: How do I know that you are the ORIGINAL pay pal?

Don't rely on any links from an e-mail you get. If you get an email requesting information from PayPal, rather than clicking on the link go to www.paypal.com yourself and input the information there if it is truely needed. Another thing to note is the web address in your address bar, not in the link (links can be programmed to say one thing but take you somewhere else) if the address in the address bar is https//www.paypal.com/anything then its a good address. The https means hypertext transfer protocol Secure, the www.paypal.com part is the actual server address, this translates into paypal's ip address in a dns server, and then there can be anything after the slash that follows the .com part. The stuff that follows the slash is server or database location information, telling paypal's server where to find the information you are trying to access or change.

Paypal does not automaticly put the funds into your bank account. You need to sign in and go to your account and click the withdraw tab.

How do I get money from my pay pal account someone has sent to me?

You should have a bank account that is associated with the Paypal account. Transfer the money from your paypal account to the bank account. Then you can use your debit or go to the bank to get your money.

Want to set up a account to [email protected] send money from my account 2 his

Login to your Pay Pal. Select the "Send Money" tab. Enter his email address in the box indicated and the amount. Pay Pal will send him a notice to pick the money up. He can transfer it to his bank as long as his bank is not in a country where sending money is restricted, such as Mexico or china.
