The touch screen needs calibrated in service mode
It is easy to press buttons you shouldnt when in service mode which can cause an expensive service call. Do you have experience working on Canon copiers?
I can help but do not want to cause serious problems...

On the copier display screen is their a tab that says "send"? If not then you do not have the fax option installed. If you have the machine on your network, find out the IP address assigned to the machine and enter the IP address in the address bar of your Internet Explorer browser to access the machine settings from your PC. If you have a fax option you should be able to set it up from there.

Hi
My self Rishi Dhiman
if u want to active ur optional copy tray in ir 4570/3570/2870 machine than first of all u have to enable it ,
Go to additional function/ common setting / tray desination/ here u can select tray which u want to use
If u not get the opiton of tray desination in common setting of additional function, than u have to active it from service mode
press * 28* for entering into service mode after that click on copier, now click on option >acc>out tray press here 1 and do it ok, now u have to restart u machine one time after that opition of tray desition is avilable in common setting, nd there u can set u output tray,
caution : this method is decrease the speed of machine paper output
Any Query about this u can post it again here on this website

It turns out the contrast button turns and is not stuck. The touchpad is still unresponsive to touches and a hard reset didn't fix it. Any Ideas?
