I have a sansung's dvd player and i haven't problem to see the divx's subtitles (srt, sub, ssa). Realy, it's no problem to a lot of dvd/divx players, but a friend did buy the yahoo home theather yht-630, this don't display the subtitles in this format. what i can do to resolbe my problem? maybe the yht630 can't display these format, or not? .... (sorry about my wrong english, it'nt my natibe language) how can upgrade divx samsung ht-tq85 and i can view divx whit subtitles (*.srt , *.sub). please help me.
Look for firmware upgrades in Samsung's website.
You have to download a set of files, burn them on to a CD or DVD (check the help file in the download) and then insert the CD or DVD to your DVD Player and follow the on-screen instructions. It is really simple, just make sure you download the correct upgrade from the website. And one advice, use a RW DVD or RW CD because you may have to try it many times ;) .

it is quite easy to play those anoying subtitles first name the same way both files (video file and subtitle file) example movie.avi movie.srt be sure that both files are in the same folder second: insert the cd/dvd in the yht-630 when the menu appears select the subtitle file using the arrow keys and press the "subtitle" key after this at the screen you will see -> subtitle selected finally select the file that contains the movie (again arrow keys) and press "ok" or "play " key the movie will start and the subtitles will appear. it functions with sub and srt files

Can't get divx subtitles to work on ht-q80.
i have samsung dvd player p8080 that doesnot show subtitle in right format and font and even i changed my font and format (.srt .sub.ssa) but i have problem yet. pls help samsung and me.
