You can repair a broken wire provided you know exactly the pt where the wire is broken..... just turn the wire left and right at suspecious points and listen to the sound..... if you can hear a change in sound at any point, conclude that it is broken there.... cut the wire at that point and solder the wires back in the correct combination to make it work fine...

Bosch B26FT50SNS fridge. How to repair broken wire in left ice/water door?

To repair a broken wire in the left ice/water door of the Bosch B26FT50SNS fridge, it is possible to disassemble the left door water/ice dispenser. However, it is important to note that this process can be complicated and should only be attempted by someone with experience in appliance repair.

To begin, unplug the fridge from the power source and remove any items from the door shelves. Locate the screws that hold the dispenser cover in place and remove them using a screwdriver. Carefully pry off the cover and set it aside.

Next, locate the wire that needs to be repaired and determine where it is broken. Cut away any damaged sections of wire and strip the ends of the remaining wires. Twist together the ends of the wire that was cut and use electrical tape or wire nuts to secure them together.

Reassemble the dispenser cover by aligning it with the door and pressing it into place. Replace the screws that hold it in place and tighten them securely.

Finally, plug the fridge back in and test the ice/water dispenser to ensure that it is working properly.

In summary, to repair a broken wire in the left ice/water door of a Bosch B26FT50SNS fridge, you can disassemble the left door water/ice dispenser, locate and repair the broken wire, and reassemble the dispenser cover.

1991 Buick Skylark power windows wont work how do you fix them?

If no windows are working, I would start ( given the age ) at looking for broken wiring on the drivers door where the wire harness exits the door and enters the car. You may have to cut the rubber cover containing the wire harness for inspection. If broken wiring found, repair as necessary. If wiring ok, possible master switch on the drivers door

My left speaker has no sound unless i jiggle the cord right at the part where all 3 p;ugs turn into 1 cord. how do i fix it?

The wire inside the speaker cable is broken. You may be able to identify the exact point the wire is broken by bending the wire and unbending the wire. If you can locate the approximate location of the break, you could cut the broken section out then strip the wire, and reconnect. Best to solder if possible. Otherwise, you will probably need to replace the cable or buy a new speaker set.

Can i fix my lcd ribbon even though it is alummum

Not possible to fix broken circuit tracks. If you manage to solder a wire across the broken track then it will not be flexible enough and will break again.
The video ribbon cable needs to be replaced.

I have a 2008 chevy cobalt. When i put the key in the ignition, there is a audible "ding" to let u know the keys are in. The audible "ding" would also be heard when u turned the...

The "ding" is made by the body control computer when the door is opened and the key is in the ignition or when the lights are left on and the door is opened. The only thing in common with the door speaker is that they happen to run through the same wiring harness to the door. Other than that, they are TOTALLY different circuits.

However, there is a possibility that the wires are broken in the umbilical that goes between the door and the body. The only way that these two things could be even remotely related, is if you have at least 2 broken wires in there.

NOTE: each circuit should be diagnosed separately. If it is found that there in fact is a broken wire inside the umbilical, ALL the wires in the umbilical should be inspected for damage. This may also fix the other problem, but not necessarilly.

A scan of your Body Control Computer should also be performed, even if not for any other reason than to clear any fault codes created by a possible broken wire.

UpsidedownFE not working thermal error

Thermistor problems are really very rare.  One thing to look for is a possible broken wire in the door assembly.  Remove the front door panel.  Locate the wire harness.  About 1/3 of the way up from the bottom of the door, look for a broken wire.  If no broken wire, look for a kinked wire that may be on the way to being broken.  Once all the broken wires are repaired, the unit should work fine.  If there is no broken wire, then have the thermistor replaced.
