the breaks are just like the ones on a bicycle with hand breaks and there is a cable usually up near the hand squeeze area you will see where the cable enters and there is rotatable tensioner you can turn it one way of the other one way will loosen and weaken the breaks the other way will tighten and make the breaks more sensative. oh and you might need a small pliers to turn the little adjuster Invacare Bariatric Rollator Left Brake Handle And Brake Assembly

adjust the cable length by the outer cable adjusted at the hand piece
same idea as a push bike adjustment for the brakes

I have an old tandem bicycle that has two sets of brakes, with a total of 3 brake cables. One lever operates one cable and the other lever operates two. The brand is MAFAC. I found one on-line at the following site. Scroll down to "Mafac tandem brake lever".

Your Genset is made by GENERAC same as my personal 5500W home unit is. Great service and great Genset!!

I never had any problems with mine other then the Poly gas tank valve stem gasket leaked from day 1, and they replaced it no bones 100% FREE upon request. I also requested both a Service manual and an Operators Manual and they sent me both FREE of charge as well. (I had no manuals with mine either, as I bought my Genset brand new at a garage sale for $300 - great deal)

Just make sure when you call them (as with anyone seeking operator/setup manuals - that you tell them they got LOST in a recent move!) It helps - otherwise they (any company) might ask for a charge for them. Getting pretty bad out there everywhere thanks to you know who!

Call the GENERAC toll free # below anyway - regardless what it says below about the GUARDIAN brand and where to get service. You want the Install / Service manuals only.
