GE Washing Machine (model # GUSR2LOOT) drain problem

Hi. I have a GE Washing Machine (model # GUSR2LOOT AWW). It is working perfectly fine. However, when the wash is done, the clothes are not being drained. Only the clothes though (the remaining water in the machine is drying out..but the clothes aren't being squeezed and drained). Any suggestions to fix this problem myself?

Check for a blockage in the water pump. If it does not drain first it does not spin. Check for power to the drain pump motor.If no pump blockage check the lid switch for continuity. No continuity, replace the lid switch.

Thanks for choosing FixYa and welcome. You probably have a bad water level switch. As for the agitation, the drive motor controls the agitation, spinning, and draining. It is possible for the machine to not agitate, but yet spin and drain. The motor runs clockwise and counterclockwise. It may be bad and if so, will need changed.
