I'm not familiar with this particular torch but similar torches use an adaptor such as one depicted below to enable AAA batteries to be used where the primary battery is either a 18650 battery or two CR123 batteries in series. I hope this helps.

Siemens gigaset a510ip

These NiMh batteries last a certain life -approx 3 years.

I replaced mine with 700 mAh 1.5V AAA rechargeables. Two per hansdet - buy 4 for $13.80 from EveryBattery. See everybattery.com.au or ask for the long nipple AAA NiMh cells.

The base unit for my Philips VOIP3212S is not charging the phone I need to buy a replacement base unit. I put ordinary batteries in the phone and the base unit no longer works

Wilson - The phone was not made to use regular (AAA) batteries. Unless you install AAA NIMH rechargeables it will not work. Regular AAA batteries cannot be charged by the base unit.
In case you meant AAA NIMH batteries as "ordinary batteries" then your charger may be the problem, but I wouldn't assume that until I've taken a pencil eraser and vigorously cleaned the base contacts and tried the base again (with the right batteries.)

My ti 83 will turn on when i press the clear thing but when i try to put something in nothing happens

Hi imagenius1,

You need to free up some memory. Try clearing your RAM memory. Your calculator should operate properly afterward.

Press [2nd] [MEM] [7] [1] [2]

If the steps above did not reset the memory to your Ti 83 family calculator try the procedures below.

Please be prepared to re-install the calculator's OS if you run through this process.

If you have a straight Ti 83 without the Plus or, Silver Edition label goto (Procedure 2) below. If your Ti calculator is a Ti 83 Plus or better goto (Procedure 1).

(Procedure 1).

  1. Try a new set of AAA batteries.

  2. Remove one of the AAA batteries. Press and hold the [CLEAR] key. While holding [CLEAR], reinsert the AAA battery and then turn the calculator on. The calculator should display the message "RAM Cleared". Release the [CLEAR] key and, then press [CLEAR] one more time to remove the message.

  1. Remove one of the AAA batteries. Press and hold the [DEL] key. While holding [DEL], reinsert the AAA battery and then turn the calculator on. The calculator should display "Waiting...Please install calculator software now". Follow the instructions for the TI-83 family or TI-84 Plus family to reinstall the calculator operating system.

  2. Steps to re-installing the operating system:
~Connect the TI Connectivity cable between the PC and the calculator.
~Click on Start >> Programs >> TI Tools >> TI Connect >> TI OSDownloader
~Follow the on-screen directions to reinstall the calculator's OS. If you could not install the new OS on your calculator goto step 4.

  3. Remove all of the batteries including the round lithium battery for 5 minutes. After the 5 minute period, reinsert all of the batteries and turn the calculator on. Adjust the contrast if necessary.

  4. If the above process did not reset your calculator. Try re-doing (Procedure 1) and, extend the time in step 4, by 5 minutes to 10 minutes before you put all the batteries back in the calculator.

(Procedure 2).

For a straight Ti 83 without the Plus or, Silver Edition label try the procedure below.

  1. Try a new set of AAA batteries.

  2. Remove one of the AAA batteries. Press and hold the [ON] key for 20 seconds. Reinsert the AAA battery and then turn the calculator on.

How do I correct the Error Waiting...Please Install Calculator SoftwareNow message on my TI-83 Plus family or TI-84 Plus family calculator?

If an operating system (OS) update fails or is interrupted, the calculator will be in an inoperable state with the message Waiting...Please install calculator software now.The most common cause of a transfer being interrupted is updating the operating system on a calculator with low batteries. Users will need touse the TI Connectivity cable and the TI Connect to send the operating system to the calculator. Make sure to have the latest version of TI Connect installed on the computer.
In order to install the software please follow these steps:
1. Connect the TI Connectivity cable between the computer and the calculator.
2. Click on Start >> Programs >> TI Tools >> TI Connect >> TI OSDownloader
3. Follow the on-screen directions to reinstall the calculator's OS.
If the message "Error! Press any key to turn unit off. Then turn unit back on." appears on the graphing calculator, quickly, remove one battery from the calculator and reinstall it while the transfer is taking place.

Hope it helps.

My firmware is 5.03 I need custom firmware/CFW enabler via HEN ?

this only works for 1000 series and 2000 series!

i have a pandora's battery that my friend made for me and i simply use this and files on a memory stick from a program on this site!

http://forums.afterdawn.com/thread_view.cfm/688507 go to kanelitas message and he will tell you how to install the files needed to mod your psp! if you have a newer psp 2000 series im not sure you will be able to make a pandoras battery with the programs provided by psp pandora deluxe! 1000 may be able to run pandora installer but i havent tryed it with a regular fat battery on a 1000 series!

So my point is i can tell you how to install the files with psp pandora deluxe to your memory stick but if you cant make a pandoras battery with the programs provided it may not work with official firmware!

A pandoras battery lets you run a program that lets you install a m33 driver[ modded software ] so in the hopes that you have a 2000 series or lower here i go!

tools! 1. One PSP 2. USB cord for PSP 3. at least 512 mb memory stick pro duo 4. Windows xp [ sorry but i havent tested installing the modding files with vista i cant say vista will install pap pandora deluxe!] 5. PSP CHARGER always have it on a charger nko matter what until you cease modding!

ok So Kanelita states you dont need a pandoras battery! wow i cant say thats true! cause see since i have a pandoras battery i have a treasure im lucky to have obtained. so heres what i did with a pandoras battery! but he claims you dont so stiil try it!

I Havn't got a clue how to put games on my classpad.

Hello,
Don't you have enough gadgets to put games on? Or is it because you are not allowed to have them in class, and you want the ClassPad to be a Trojan Horse. Well, you actually read Homer (not the Simpson one.) I too read Homer.
Good luck

My ti 83 wont power on

This just happened to my daughters TI-83. I took one of the AAA batteries out (any one will do since they are in series) and the backup battery out, and left it that way for about 10 minutes. When i put the one AAA back in and pressed the on button we were back in business.
