How to write a program on fx-9750 calculator

If you want to learn how to program this calculator, I suggest you visit the Casio World website to download a copy of the manual for the FX-9750GPlus (the older version of the calculator). The last chapters contain sample programs you can type in your calculator. Study the programs specially the Input/Output and a few commands and experiment with them. With practice you will graduate to more involved programming.

Here is the link to the website to download the manual.

On the site you will also find a link to the program library for the FX-9750GPlus. Download them and transfer them on the calculator.

How to download the Texas Instruments TI-83 Plus Calculator

1.Get linking software for your computer, such as TiLP, or TI Graph-Link, and follow the installation instructions to install it.

2.Plug your cable into the computer (where depends on what cable you have)(somtimes your computer does not have the right kind of entrance) and the other end into the calculator.

3.Start the linking program that you just installed. If it detects the calculator, everything is working fine, and proceed.

4.Download calculator software from the internet. You can find many programs athttp://www.ticalc.org

5.Make sure downloaded program is unzipped and located in a normal windows folder

6.Select the program you downloaded in your linking program (how you do this varies between programs) and send it to the calculator. For Windows this can involve finding the unzipped program in windows explorer and right clicking it (from a normal--nonzipped--folder window) and selecting "send to TI device"

7.Use the program on your calculator.

TIPS: If you have a USB cable, you will need either TiLP or TI Connect, no other software supports it

Things you'll need:

-A Texas Instruments graphing calculator

-A link cable for the calculator

-An internet connection

My RAM was cleared and now all of my favorite programs (including wrong calculation programs) were cleared. How am I supposed to revive the programs?

The applications created by TI people can be downloaded from education.ti.com and transferred to the calculator using the TI Connect software. Similarly, the third party program found on the Internet at tiCalc.org or other sites can also be downloaded and transferred to the calculator. As to the programs you typed in yourself, you will have to retype them again.

To prevent future losses of programs you must frequently backup the contents of your calculator on a computer. Use the TI connect backup feature.
I must add that you can also transfer programs and apps from a similar calculator.

My calculator wont graph more than one function at a time, how can i fix that?

Hi Lexy,
Chances are, your calculator has a program called "Transfrm" on it that is preventing the calculator from graphing more than one function at a time. Luckily this is easily remedied.

1) Turn calculator on and press the "APPS" key.
2) Scroll down (towards the bottom of the list) and find the "Transfrm" program.
3) With the program highlighted, press the "Enter" key.
4) Highlight the "Uninstall" option and press "Enter".

Once the program is uninstalled, the graphing function of the calculator should be working correctly, allowing you to graph more than one function at a time.

Hope this helps :-)

I transferred a program into the calculator using the TI Connect software but when i go to the program in the calculator it says "undefined." I tried transferring the program from another calculator to...

Hi,
A program, or an Application are both programs, but the former will be accessed through the program manager [PRGM] and the latter through application manager .[APPS] .If it is a program (in the context of the TI84Plus) you press [PRGM]. You see three menus [Exec [Edit] [New]. If there are any programs in the calculator, you should see them under [Exec] and under [Edit].

A. To RUN a program
  1. To run a program already in calculator, you select its name under the [EXEC] menu and press [ENTER]. If you get an error message "undefined" it is most certainly due a variable or parameter used in the program without its being defined first.
  2. This is programming error that must be corrected by editing the program.
  3. Usually you get a QUIT or GOTO in the error message.
  4. Press the number corresponding to GOTO and the cursor will be at the place where the error occurs
  5. If a program is archived (it has an asterisk in front of it name) you cannot run it. It must be unarchived first.
B. To edit a program
  1. To edit a program already in calculator, you select its name under the [EDIT] menu and press [ENTER].
  2. If you are allowed to edit it, you will be able to enter, delete and modify commands.
  3. To do so, you must know the programming language of the TI84Plus.
  4. If a program is archived (it has an asterisk in front of it name) you cannot edit. It must be unarchived first.
Hope it helps.
Thank you for rating this solution.

How do i manualy program games to my ti-83 plus calculator

Hello,
Programs in general can be typed in the calculator [PGRM] --> [EXEC] [EDIT] [NEW]
[EXEC] : to execute a program already in the calculator
[EDIT] :to modify an existing program (open a program you select and allows you to modify it)
[NEW] : opens a fresh page where you can enter the name you give your program, then enter the instructions you want it to execute when it runs.

You can also transfer games that are on another calculator via a calc-to-calc cable, or use the TIconnect software to transfer TI83 games from your computer to the calculator. If you need instructions on how to transfer files post a request here and someone will be happy to show you how.

Hope it helps.

How do I protect programs from deletion? So that even permanent deletion won't exactly delete it. Cheers

Your calculator comes with APPS, but probably didn't come with programs unless you've downloaded some from the TI site or linked a program from another calculator.

Your APPS or programs cannot be deleted without going through the memory mgt/del screen. In other words, you can't press APPS, arrow down to the APP and hit the delete key and delete your APP.

If for some reason you accidentally delete a TI APP or a program, I think as long as you have registered you calculator with TI, you can download the missing APP or program from their site.

To disable APPS & programs (necessary for some standardized tests). With the calculator off, hold down the left and right arrow keys at the same time then press on. A disable screen will come up and you can choose to disable them. However if you do this you will not be able to use them again until you enable them again.

To enable, link to another calculator and send an app or program from that calculator to yours. This will turn your apps and programs back on.
