Tablet was used until battery was dead and placed on charge, however it wouldn`t charge, so I purchased several new chargers, but it still won`t charge. The last charger purchase was a nexus orginal one
If the USB port is becoming worn and no longer works, you can purchase the USB port and solder it on the board to replace it or replace the whole board, which is more costly and prevents you from needing to solder anything.

This, unfortunately, is a common problem among Nexus users. It appears the USB port becomes problematic and prevents the phone from charging.
