I have a droid Samsung Galaxy 4S cell phone. My problem is in my attempt to play music from my cell through my boat radio I plug in with a cord through the top jack on the phone directly to the radio. the phone will play 1 song and then go to "pause". I was told by ATT the problem was most likely in the cord or the jack on the radio. I switched cords & the same problem persists. I plugged in my sons IPhone and his phone plays fine with no problems. I don't know the name of the download program I am using to play the music but is entitled "Music" and has a blue circle on the perimeter with a yellow music note on the interior of the blue circle. please advise on your thoughts to solve this problem.
A Samsung phone running the Android operating system probably has a Google "Play Music" app installed. Open the list of apps and look for it. If not go to Google "Play Store" and install it. https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.google.android.music
If your music files are on your phone or memory card, you can set up the app and it will create a database of all your songs (usually in a folder called "Music"). The app plays what you ask it to play - one song, or an entire album, or all songs in the "genre" Country, etc. The radio just plays whatever sound the phone is sending. The iphone is set up to play a series of songs (probably you selected an album) before pausing.
SOURCE: My Samsung YP-T9J MP3 will not play downloaded songs
if you have a error message license error, it means song is not properly authorized to be shared. is this "downloaded song", are they on mp3 format? if they are, try using windows media player, then synch it with the mp3 player. hope this helps!
SOURCE: got an aux cord to plug my ipod in, doesnt switch to "aux in" mode
According to the manual, you need to "enable" the AUX 1 or 2 thru the initial settings menu.
Press and hold the SRC until the unit turns off. Then press and hold the MULTI CONTROL (knob) until the Language appears. Turn the knob to cycle thru the options, select AUX 1 or 2 and press the knob again to select ON.
After selecting them to on, power the unit on and press the SRC to cycle thru the sources to find AUX 1 or 2.
The owners manual is here if you need it;
