How do I get my Stanley 2m series spotlight to Charge?

To take the charge the inbuilt battery must be functional. Once the battery goes bad you will be unable to charge the unit or it will take a small charge and die rapidly thereafter.

You may or may not be able to change the battery. It depends on the manufacturer of the product so you should consult the instructions that came with the item if you still have them.

Trileaf distribution trifeuil

Check and replace the bulb. Make sure your charger has power coming out of it. Also, depending on how long you have owned this the battery could be shot. Just as cheap to buy a new light as it is to buy a new battery.

New, never used. Bulb appears OK. Plugged it in

The battery is replaceable, I would first take the old battery out first and test it to make sure it is charged at 12 volts before I replace it. If it is less than 12 volts than I would look at replacing it. You can order a new one from Black and Decker. They bought vector in 2006. You will need the model #, here is the link;

2M Pwr Rch Spotlight: main light no longer working'but smaller ligh is?...

The rechargeable battery is dead, it has just enough juice to light the LED light, but not the main one. I have two identical Vector lights VEC119CO, one with the same problem you are describing and the other one in perfect working order. I tested it by hooking up the leads of the non-working light to the battery of the working light and the main light turned on.You can order a new battery or any parts you need for a Vector product from Black and Decker, either online or if you live close to a Service Center you will save money on shipping by picking it up.

New sportspot won't turn on

Hi, I had the same problem. Your battery is strong enough to power the little light but not the spot light. I connected a motorcycle battery charger directly tot he battery and the light worked. So, you like me, need a new battery as ours are bad.
