I ordered a book and paid for it. I was wondering why I hadn't received the book and when I checked it has been cancelled but you didn't refund my money.

Can I get a refund?

• If you didn't choose your date when making your purchase, and the merchant is unable to book the stay you want during the available dates before the book-by date, we'll refund your purchase
• After the book-by date, you can still use your Groupon Getaways voucher for the price you paid for it. You can learn more here.

• Any unredeemed, unprinted Groupon may be returned for a refund within the first 3 days after purchase
• After 3 days, all sales are final, but you can always give your Groupon to a friend or family member to use instead (unless the Fine Print specifies otherwise)

You can appeal to Amazon.com's Customer Service department. Once your free period has elapsed, it automatically becomes a "Paid Membership". If you haven't used any Prime Benefits outside the free window you can receive a refund of the full amount. Their policy on cancellation of Prime membership reads as follows: "Paid members who haven't placed an Amazon Prime eligible order are eligible for a full refund. You can't receive a refund if any of the household members have placed an Amazon Prime eligible order."

So, depending on how you've used the account, you may be out of luck.

Just sign on to Amazon and select "prime" then select "Manage prime" you should be able cancel there.

Sounds like you got caught in the "free" trial offer. If this is not canceled before the free trial ends you automatically get enrolled. You can follow these directions to cancel the membership. Getting a refund may require you calling customer service.
