SOURCE: My phone is displaying boxes telling me that google apps google play ect is unexpectedly closed.its says forced close under the box.each time I press force close anotther similar box appears.im unable

You need to hard reset the device in order for the force close errors to stop. As long as you have an sdcard your photos should be backed up.

To Hard Reset follow these directions

How to download an app without being signed into google account

The Yalp Store is one of the best alternatives to Google Play Store. The store lets you download Apps from Google Play Store without actually using the Play Store. All you need is to download the App Store and browse for your favourite App. The Yalp Store will download the App from Google Server and also lets you download any updates if available.

The App Store is a functional replica of Play Store without any intervention by Google.
Features of Yalp Store
  • Downloads the Apps from Google Server
  • You can also download the updates for the Apps whenever a new version is released
  • The App does n0t require any Google services for its functioning.
  • If you wish you can log in to your Google Account or by default use a fake Yalp Account
  • The App store design is very much simple. You will love it instantly.
You can either download the Yalp from Link above or else go for manual download for the latest version. (Read steps)

Step 1.Download and install the F-Droid Apk from the official page.
Step 2. Open the F-Droid App and let the App update the repository.
Step 3. Once the updates are complete, search for Yalp Store in the F-Droid.
Download and Install the Store.
Step 4.Open the Yalp Store and you will see a Pop-Up message "How would you like to log in to Google Play Store?"
Select 'With a fake Yalp Store account'
Step 5. Search for the App, update the Apps and install the Apps with ease.
Boom! You can download Apps from 'Play Store' without using Play Store. Thanks to Team - FDroid.

I cant not use google play store on my nook hd plus i used too but now it force closes

When you uninstall updates to Google Play Store you are actually uninstalling updates to the Google Play Store app itself and not your other installed applications and their settings what you're actually doing is downgrading the Google Play app itself to the version that came shipped on your nook HD Plus. I know this Uninstall Updates wording tends to freak a lot of folks out because they think it means all updates to everything. In the app itself sometimes this is necessary if a bug is introduced into the most recent version of the Google Play app. Don't worry over time the Google Play app itself will automatically update itself again. If newer versions still have a bug on your system just uninstall updates again until they get it fixed. Over the last two and a half weeks a minor bug was discovered in Google Play that the very second you entered an apps description page Google Play would immediately stop responding to the system and crash. I sent a blind email to a Google support email address I hoped could forward it to the Google Play staff. I sent the email in about this problem about a week ago. It least on my Nook HD plus for the past two and a half days this problem seem to have corrected itself. Knock on wood.

You are the second question in a week about this very same problem between the Google Play Store app and Nooks. Hope this answers both questions and provides a solid workaround should Google Play Store ever get buggy again in the future.

What does error message 498 mean

It is a Cache related issue ou can solve it like so.

Method 1: Go to settings>>Apps>>Select "All" tab From the "All" apps list>> Find Google Play Store>> Clear Data and Cache From the "All" apps list>> Find Google Service Framework >> Clear Data and Cache Now restart Google Play Store and try to download/update the app or games.

Method 2: Try a different Gmail account in your Google Play Store. For this: Open Google Play Store Go to settings >> Accounts>> Choose Account or add new account Now try to download or install the app or game.

Method 3: Go to system settings >> Accounts >> Google >> remove your Gmail account From settings >> Apps >>All >> Force stop, Clear data and cache for Google Play Store, Google Service Framework and Download Manager (like in method 1) Again, go to settings >> Accounts >> Google >> Add your Gmail account Restart your android and then accept all the Google terms and setup Google settings Run Google Play Store and update or install your app. These methods are common solutions to many android market related problems. Hope you have now successfully downloaded your apps or games from the Google Play Store.

Why is it that when ever I try to download games 50mb or higher on the Google play store I get an error (911). Please help I really want games like boom beach.

There is not one sure solution for these market related android errors and you'll have to try a bunch of fixes to fix these errors and chances are that the errors will come back and you'd have to repeat the process. The 911 error mostly occurs when you are trying to update your apps in the Google play store while connected to a faulty wifi network.

Method 1: Clear the Google Play store data
  • Go to Settings >> Manage Applications or Apps >> Open "All" tab
  • From the list of "All" apps >> Scroll Down and Select "Play Store" >> Select Force stop, Clear cache and Clear data
Method 2: If you are using a wifi connection that requires a webpage login, then your authentication has probably expired. Log in to the APN again via your android browser. Open Google Play store and run the app update again . If that didn't work the problem is with the wifi network itself.

Method 3: Simply switch to another Wifi network and run the update. The error 911 should disappear for the new Wifi network.

Method 4:
Use your mobile network data services instead of wifi. Turn wifi off and then turn your data on and now open your Google Play Store and download/update your apps or games. However, this method is only suited for apps and games that are small sized. For larger updates you should use your wifi network to save data charge.

When I try to download an App, I get an ERROR that says: Error retrieving information from server. [RPC-S-5:AEC-0]. How can I get this to download apps?

Fixing RPC:S-5:AEC-0 Google Play Store Error

The Google Play / Android Market error retrieving information from server RPC:S-5:AEC-0 error message can be a bit of a pain, the RPC:S-5:AEC-0 error just randomly appeared on my tablet after it upgraded to a newer version of Android. However this is how i managed to fix the RPC:S-5:AEC-0 error with ease.
  1. Load the Settings app, click apps, then select "All"
  2. Next in the all apps view find the "Google Play Store" and click on it
  3. Now click "Clear Cache" (Not Data), then Force Stop.
  4. Next in the same app list find "Google Service Framework"
  5. Click clear data (Not Cache), then Force Stop
  6. Switch off the phone or tablet and turn it back on
  7. You should be able to download and update apps from the Google Play store once more.

Enjoy no more RPC:S-5:AEC-0 errors when downloading or updating apps.
Or Simply Go to settings/app.manager/all
Delete data + cache :
Google Play Store
Google Play-services
Google Services Framework
Hangouts
Market-feedback agent (important)
Then delete google-account(data/system/user/0/ fine the accounts.db file and cut and paste it somewhere else)
Restart the phone and then re-add google-account( paste your accounts.db file earlier to it's original location).
p/s~Your device need to be rooted to remove/delete google account without a factory reset.

enjoy and have a good day :)

Google Play Store constantly Force Closes, how do I fix it?

Even still to this day, it happens.
I've figured a temporary solution to fix this issue.

1. Go to settings > apps > manage apps and make sure you are under all apps tab.
2. Find Google play store and force close it. Then select uninstall updates.
3. Go back and scroll down to find Market Updater?... I think is what it is called and select force close.

From now on, only use the Market. The Google Play Store icon may disappear from the apps/app drawer... which is exactly what you want.

Problem solved.

If it ever happens again and Play Store comes up again, just repeat the process. As I said, I believe this fix is only TEMPORARY.

What does code 912 mean? i get this when downloading apps from apps store

There are a few reasons why you would get a 912 error when downloading apps.
  • Downloading apps directly to an SD card
  • Play Store (app store) needs to be updated
  • Bad cache
The following methods could help solve the problem
Clear Cache and Reboot
  • Go to Setting >> Go to Application Setting (In some devices application setting is named as apps).
  • Go to, All the apps > >Find the Google Play Store >> Clear Data and Cache
  • Once you have clear everything, Next you need to Force Stop the application
  • Also, try to clear Cache and data of Download Manager and Google Service Framework.
  • Now, Restart your device and try to download the app.
Unmount SD Card
  • Go to Setting >> Storage >> Scroll down and select "Unmount SD card"
  • Open Google Play Store >> Download the app again that was giving you the error message
  • After successful installation, Go back to Settings >> Storage >> tap on "mount SD card"
  • If above steps didn't work, also try removing your SD card before installing.
Move app to phone
  • Go to Settings >> Go to Apps >> Select, All the apps
  • Scroll down and select the app that was giving you the error during update
  • Select "Move to phone"
  • Open Google Play Store and update the app
  • After successful installation, you can move the app back to SD card
