I can not receive emails on my web - Computers & Internet

RIM uses push technology. Email has to be set up at their end. I think you can do it via the web. Then your provider handles your email to your phone.

normally a web site will send you a validation email to a valid email address that you supplied. You need to go to the email and find the message sent to you , check also in spam or junk folders and then open the email and look for a hyper link to click on that will open the particular web site and register you have received the email message .

Make sure that the incoming server "Port" number is the same as your email provider stipulates. If your provider requires SSL, then click "This server requires an encrypted connection (SSL)." Click "OK." Click the "Outgoing mail server" field, if your error was when sending email. Enter the full outgoing server address. Click "More Settings > Advanced." Make sure the "Outgoing server" port is correctly set. If your email provider requires encryption, then select the correct type from the drop-down menu. Click "OK." Click the "password" field and make sure you have entered the correct password. If your mail provider requires "SPA," then click the "Require logon using Secure Password Authentication (SPA)" to enable it. Click "Next" and then "Finish." Your password should now work. There is no specific email client on the Kindle so you can only receive your emails via the experimental web browser and using a web mail service to access your mail.

Base on your question, am I correct? you can send email and receive emails from your Iphone, no problem at all. That mean your Iphone doesnt' have any problem with email.
Elsewhere, such as you use web-base email, you log on email from website and you couldn't send emails from the website??? Is that right? Or you have a email client software, such as: outlook, thunderbird, .. and you can't send email from that.
In my opinion, if you can send and receive emails from Iphone then the email server is ok, your Iphone is working well with email. Problem is the elsewhere you use to send and receive emails, maybe the setting of email client software, maybe the compatible of web browser. If you could, you try the setting, make sure the ports is correct.
