Arc (mma) works but can not get the mig to work... have not yet tried the tig....

It is ridiculously useless. Try taking your welder to a high school shop teacher or find a local hobbyist welder -- because welding supply stores hate these Chinese boxes that cut into their sales and will not be helpful.

Re-adjust your tention wing nut, or make sure you have the correct groove on the feed wheel for the size wire you are using. also, if you are using an extention cord that is to small or to long it will cause it to skip.

Hi, well I see these type of problems all the time, and if it will NOT strike and arc, then most likely the main output semiconductors have failed... perhaps when you changed polarity? It should strike an arc regardless, but in any event and in this case yes you will need to take it ion for "Service" there are NO DIY "Bits" as it were. Always ask for a "Quote" before allowing any repair work to be undertaken.
Internal fuse inline with the transformer output to the gun.
