WANT TO REPLACE the current microwave, but want to fill the space over the stove.
Determining the cubic feet of any given appliance, Microwave, Oven, Freezer or Refrigerator is quite simple.
Follow these steps.
Open the door of your microwave and measure the length, width and height in inches of the interior cavity.
Multiply the length by the width by the height using a calculator to get the total in cubic inches.
Divide the cubic inches by 1,728, which is the volume of a cubic foot. The resulting number will be your microwave's measurement in cubic feet. You can also use an online conversion calculator to simplify matters
Hope that helps

It is a good possibility that the stirrer has failed. In the top of cabinet is a round cover, there is a small round plug in the edge of it,pry plug out and put it in safe place, rotate the cover < twist locks > gently let it down and stirrer will be either setting on cover or still attached. If you notice any damage< it is a round aluminum disc that is flat > then you need a new one. If you don't see any damage put it back in < put in hole and turn until you feel it line up with shaft and push into place,< gently >.Make note of position and put cover back on < stirrer does not lock on shaft so you have to hold it up until you get cover under it in most cases. Run a short cycle and remove cover to see if it turned at all. If not the motor is bad < turns stirrer during operation>. This is the first time that question has been asked of me and it is the only thing that I can think of if it heats glass and not food.

The magnetron is overheating, and the magnetron thermostat is tripping, interrupting power until it cools back down.
This is to protect the magnetron from being destroyed from overheating.
It may be that the internal cooling is not occurring or the magnetron is failing. Cooling can be compromised by:
- failed or failing internal cooling fan
- blocked air inlet or filter
- outer cover not installed correctly
There should be a "mini-manual"
hidden inside the unit behind the control panel or hidden on the left
side
behind the grille, which is very helpful when troubleshooting, &
testing.
