Charecteristics of the plants kingdom include

Plantae is the plant kingdom which includes all plants on the earth. They are multi-cellular eukaryotes. They consist of cell walls and chlorophyll. Plants are photosynthetic. Hence, they have an autotrophic mode of nutrition. The plant kingdom is a vast group; therefore, the kingdom is further classified into subgroups. Level of classification is based on the following three criteria:
  • Plant body- whether the body has well-differentiated structures or not.
  • Vascular system-whether the plant has vascular system for transportation of substances or not
  • Seed formation- whether the plant bears flowers and seeds or not; if it does, then whether it is enclosed within fruits or not.

The characteristics of plants kingdom

The following are the characteristics for Kingdom Plantae:
  • Most of the plants are eukaryotic and chlorophyll containing organisms.
  • Cell walls of plant cells are comprised of cellulose.
  • They have an ability to grow by cell division.
  • In life cycle of plant cells, the interchanges occur from the embryos and are supported by other tissues and self produce.
  • Plants have both organs and organ systems.
  • They obtain their energy from sun through photosynthesis.
  • Plants develop a self defense mechanism to protect them from being destroyed by animals, fungi and other plants.
  • Organisms within Kingdom Plantae are multicellular, eukaryotic and autotrophic.
  • They lack motility.

Basic difference between animals and plants for a) Movement b) Nutrition c) Reproduction d) Growth and e) Response to the environment

Providing even a fairly basic answer would require an essay it is beyond the scope of this site and beyond the scope of myself, in terms of time and effort, to provide.

There is little difference between plants and animals - both are cellular, dependent on water and are carbon-based lifeforms using similar building blocks of life and mostly plants reproduce using male and female interaction even though many are self fertilising and some are self-propagating. Many plants can reproduce in more than one way....

Plants use photosynthesis to convert carbon into sugars where animals have a symbiotic relationship with gut bacteria that breaks down and converts food that has passed through the preparation stages of chewing and being soaked in digestive substances. The gut bacteria release the nutrients we need and these pass through the gut walls.

Plants don't move in the short term but are capable of moving considerable distances through the action of wind, water and animals or birds in a sort of symbiotic way; in a similar way to how they evolve to cope with long term environmental difficulty and changes.
Some plants move by self-reproduction; growing until a part leans over and touches the soil where it will put down roots, eg. brambles...
