You simply connect a RCA type line cable from the subs line input to the dedicated socket on the back of the Onkyo.
When you run speaker set up it will set the subwoofer up.
If its still is defective in a corner or in the attic? Maybe you can make info by a KLIPSCH service centre because Klipsch is the owner of JAMO http://www.jamo.com/about/ if you have not find the answer. Jamo About
hi,
i have a jamo 250 sub.the blue light is working.when i connect the jack to the left line IN according to the manual it makes a sound as well.but seems not working.is it related to the fuse????i know the fuse box.but i dont know how to remove the fuse to check.pls help me out.my receiver is onkyo tx-sr 608
Hi, You don't need such cable, although you can use it if you have one. If receiver has only mono SUB output (as majority of receivers have), you just connect it to the Left socket on the Sub and it will work.
Using the Y cable would probably cause that you will fed the same signal to both left and right sockets, but half the intensity (you would divide the output from receiver by 2). So in the end the Sub would receive exactly the same signal as when using normal straight cable.
since it is a powered speaker, probably it just needs a sound signal which you can get from the headphone socket. please double check with someone else.
hi, there must be this LINE IN socket (ur so called Hole), then on the onkyo, there must be this sub-line out socket, plug one end of the RC socket to the sub out of onkyo , and other to the line in of the sub, its all to do wirth its appropriate inputs and outputs, let me know
