Will Netflix work on any TV?

I have an HD TV and I am connected to Charter Cable service. Can I still subscribe to Netflix. I do not have any game devices hooked to my TV set.

You'll need a device that hosts the Netflix app. This might be a Smart Blu-ray player, or a media streaming box, or a Google Chromecast. I don't know about Charter Cable. Does their box have Apps. Is one of them Netflix?

As long as you have decent broadband speed, and an unlimited service, then running the Netflix app via a host device will work for you.

SOURCE: My TV (42" Full HD

Hi,

Yes you can - but not with a USB cable. USB is only for data (file) transfer.

What you are attempting to do is use your TV as a PC monitor, therefore it needs to be connected to your TV using a PC monitor cable (15-pin D-SUB/VGA). You will also need a separate audio cable from your PC to your TV if you want to use the TV speakers for audio. If you are using a receiver or amplifier with external speakers, you can connect the audio out from the PC directly to the amplifier/receiver.

It is also possible to connect the PC to the TV with an HDMI cable if your PC has an HDMI out port. However, some TVs wont accept an HDMI signal from a PC and this method of connection can cause other issues, so I would recommend using the PC monitor cable method.

Please let me know if you need further assistance.

Regards,
BElectric

SOURCE: PS3 not working on reg tv's after HDMI use on LCD HD tv

Shelley,  the fix for this is simple! Hold down the power button for about 5 seconds and the system will beep. This resets the video setting for your ps3 from HD too whatever the current cables are that you are using too hook up too the tv. This works on my PS3 which I just bought about 3 months ago and should work with the older ones.

SOURCE: I have a panasonic TC-P50ST30 and viera link will

Unfortunately, your charter HD DVR cable box is not a Viera link device that is compatible with the TC-P50ST30. Viera Link only works to control Panasonic HDAVI devices that are Viera Link ready (and that use the same Viera link coding) when using the HDMI cable. Thus some Viera link devices of different generations will not work with the same Viera link remote.

The manual for the TC-P50ST30 is available here: http://service.us.panasonic.com/OPERMANPDF/TCP42ST30.PDF . See page 32 for details on the Viera link controls.

I wish that I had better news for you. However, you will need to use separate remotes for your cable box and the TV.

Unable to access my Netflix account on TV

Is it still not working? If it was working fine before, it's probably a short-term outage. If Netflix is the ONLY service that is not working, then connect to the Netflix website first, then your online Netflix account second. If those both work, contact "help" from your Netflix account.

HD reception

To have HD on cable, you will need an HD cable box with the HD service activated by the cable company. Some cable carriers will provide some basic HD services included in the base cost with the box.

From the HD cable box to the TV, you will need an HDMI cable between the cable box and the TV set. This is an HDTV interconnect wire. You will have to refer to the instructions on the cable box and on the TV to get everything going properly.
