Need a service manual for Celebrity XL Pride mobility scooter

Is your track rod bent or out of alignment? Carefully buy the exact wheels with tyres and a track rod if necessary from dismantled Victory XL scooters (a good wheel with a good tyre about €30 - I've done that for my Pride Celebrity XL8 - it was a great success.

Have you checked the speed pot is not turned down too low?
No flash / beep codes.
I would check motor connector on drive unit, motor brushes.

As a mobility tech you can log onto the Pride Service website and access the technical troubleshooting guides. There is a good one for the Celebrity X . If your company has a dealer account with Pride you can go on-line and request a log-in for tech/dealer access for illustrated parts breakdowns,parts ordering, service manuals and trouble-shooting guides etc. It may take 24 hours for the log-in approval but if you call in the AM they may be able to expedite your request. iPride and Pride service are very effective in providing all the information you will need. Make sure the drive lever/freewheel brake is engaged. Usually it is on the lower back bottom of the scooter or check your owner's manual.

Hi. The serial number will be on a sticker on the upright support that holds up the seat. You will have to lift of the seat, and take the cover off the batteries to see it. It should be on the front of the deat support. Neil.

It is often a damaged accelerator (Potentiometer). Sometimes the shaft on the wigwag breaks the contacts in the accelerator from being moved too vigorously when going over a bump too fast. A technician would need to repair this for you. Happy scooting. Regards Chris… [email protected]

You need to slow things down a bit or else you may be paying a few speeding fines. Did you say bumps??? What may have happened is that one of the cables may have been knocked half out of the control box and may just need a nudge to make proper electrical contact. I just hope you have not damaged the accelerator (Potentiometer).
