Well, if there is a cd stuck in the device, you might fix this problem by force ejecting the cd/DVD.
Here is how we do this: Take a small pin, push it into the small hole near the eject button on the CD/DVD rom. While doinf this, gently pull out the trey.
If this was a stuck cd, just take it out, if there was no dc/dvd in the rom, it might be a faulty eject button. Test this by going to My Computer, right click on the CD/DVD rom andd choose to eject.
If this does not work, i would suggest thatyou buy a new drive, because it is often much cheaper than to repair.
Do you mean your disc is stuck in the drive? If so Look at the drive there should be a tiny pin hole near the eject button, insert a needle (safety pin, sewing, etc.) into the pin hole and push this opens the drive. You can also try opening my computer and right clicking the DVD drive and select eject.
Hi, to open thje the disc tray , look for a tooth pick , insert small hole in front panel push and back until disc tray out. , motor belt need to replace.
