Just need to know how to wire it for 230
The spade terminals in the wiring box are marked the chart tells where the color wire goes to what terminal for what voltage then l1 and l2 is the incoming power hookups

there is normally a name plate on the inside of the cover that shows high and low voltage connections without that the connections could be a couple different ways. Have a look Im sure its there

This is very simple, but you need to make sure you have the correct wires in hand. If you are wiring a 220/110 motor, and you are wiring it for 110 use, you will only be using 3 wires. If this motor has 7 wires, most you will need to cap off.All you need to use are P-1/Line 1 is your 110 hot. Cap off T-4, 2, and 5, Line 2. That would be used for 220 volts. P- 1 will go to your hot wire on press. On the new motor, T-8, P-2, and t-3 you say are insulated? You will need a Neutral wire to tie to the other line wire coming from the press. And the 3rd wire will be your ground. So, P-1 is hot to your press wiring, t-4,2, and 5 capped off. T-8, P-2, and T-3 has to be a Neutral wire, I would think that if T-4,2,and 5 are line -2, this would be for 220 volts. You are being confused by so many wires. You will only need to use P-1 power for 110 to press power wire, find which wires are Neutral and a ground that will go to your press wiring.P-1 will go to Red if this is hot to the press, Black to Neutral, and on the new motor you will see what color is ground, normally green or bare copper. 3 wires only. You will only need the p-1 hot, a neutral, normally white but may be black on the new motor, and a ground. Look at the Diagram on the new motor, and it will tell you the combination. P-1, Neutral, ground, and cap off the other 4 wires. I hope I havent confused you more, it is very simple, its just the colors of the wires the are confusing you and the amount. Just remember, you only need to use 3 of the, P-1, Neutral, and a ground.
