How do I fix engine code C1627 for a 2007 hyundai santa fe gls?

There is no onboard programming procedure for this vehicle. This vehicle requires special equipment be connected to the vehicle to program the keyless remote. Try a locksmith before the dealership, they are usually 50% the cost.

Has the OBD2 diagnostics been employed?Some of these type of machines will need the intake plenum removed to access the coil safely(expect to buy a intake plenum gasket and sealer.)

The GLS has a 2.7 liter V6 and the SE or Limited have a 3.3-liter 242-hp V6

That code means that you may need a new catalytic converter. First try resetting the code and see if it comes back and if it does then you may need to have it replaced. If you are under warranty go have the dealer change it for you. If you're out of warranty go to any muffler shop and they can put on an aftermarket one for only $100-200.

Go to pep boys or whatever parts store near you and they can read the codes on the csr for you.

find the options sticker in the vehicl.door frame,glove box good starting places.

P 0151 oxygen sensor 1, bank 2 - low voltage
Cause- Exhaust leak, wiring short to earth

P0650- Malfunction indicator light

P1166 & P1167 these codes do not exist, if you check these numbers I may be able to assist you further.
