1. Go to Wireless on the management menu.

2. Got to Security on the next menu and change the wireless security from disabled to your choice of security setting and then follow the prompts. Page 31

Is it a password? May be try the default password Or you can try 'reseting' the router. Beware, that resetting removes all settings and shift it to factory defaults

To protect your network, set up Wireless Encryption Protocol, or WEP, to encrypt data and prevent access unless the user enters the correct password.

Type "http://192.168.0.1" in your Internet browser's address bar and press "Enter." Enter "admin" for the username and leave the password field blank. Click "Log In" to log into your Trendnet wireless router's administrative program. Click "Wireless" from the left pane of the "Basic" tab. Click "WEP" under the "Wireless Security Mode" section at the bottom of the screen. Enter your preferred password for the network. A strong password is made up of a random selection of numbers and letters. Click "Save Settings" at the top of the screen to save your WEP settings.

Unless you've changed it, the default user name is admin and the default password is admin.

What brand is your router? Check for the IP address of the router and default password (should be written on the back of the device). Then type the IP address into the web browser on your main desctop in the kitchen like that for example http://192.168.0.1 enter the default username and pasword and you are in the router's menu.
Set up wireless connection SSID is the name of your network that will apear when you search it, do not change any of the default settings exept the SSID , enable, and select password. Use the WPA2 and type in your desired password and press SAVE . Then go to your bedroom and try to find the wireless network you've just created. And connect. Good Luck

What password are you referring to; Wireless Security or Web password to access the Router's interface?

If it's the 2nd; Open http://192.168.0.1 (default IP) on your web browser, type username: admin and Password: password. Click on Password then change the default password.

If it's the 1st; Open http://192.168.0.1 (default IP) on your web browser, type username: admin and Password: password (put you correct password if you change the default password).. Click Wireless on the left, Enable Encryption WEP or WPA; for WEP 64 bit you will have to use 10 HEX, meaning 0-9, A-F (e.g. common is phone number). If WPA; password can be set from 8-64 characters long.

First RESET your router to defaults.
for that press RESET button for 10 seconds RESET button is in back side of router.
Then connect your router to computer with ethernet cable.
Then you can access it with following link.
http://192.168.1.1
or
http://192.168.0.1
type user as "admin" and password as "admin" or blank or "password"
Then you can see configuration page of router.
Set WAN settings as your internet service provider settings.
Enable DHCP .
CLick on wireless and enable wi fi.
If you want secure router then enable WEP security then add new code it is your password key for connect wi fi.
