I am 100% new to iPads and have just been given one by my employers with zero instructions. My password on my iPad was set up by my employers but it is not working. I enter it, press the "Next" button and nothing happens - the cursor goes back to the start of the password box and so I enter it again and again and again...HELP!
SOURCE: 3g not working on apple Ipad
As far as I understand it the ipads that have just been released are wifi only. 3g are available from late April, see the www.apple.com for details.
SOURCE: my ipad is disabled how do i fix it
Try connecting it to iTunes, turning off the ipad, then hold both the lock and the home button for 10 seconds, then relese the lock button while continuing to hold the home button until iTunes recognizes the iPad. Then you should be able to reset it without problem.
SOURCE: how do I unlock a locked up ipad?
If you've got a locked up iPad app or otherwise misbehaving iPad, and
want to reboot / reset your iPad, simply hold the sleep and home
buttons together until the iPad restarts.
You'll see the shutoff slider come up first, but just keep holding.
The screen will go blank and the Apple logo will reappear as the iPad
reboots.
Note: this does not reset any data on your iPad. This is just a restart, equivalent to rebooting your computer.
It may be a hardware fault, what I would do is given that it is a new ipad take it to the local Apple Store and they will either replace it and have it repaired.
SOURCE: Ipad disabled b/c son forgot his password...help us get in?
If your son cannot remember the passcode, you will need to restore your iPad using the computer you last synced your iPad with. Using the last computer you synced with allows you to reset your passcode and re-sync all your data, apps, etc.
To begin the process, connect the iPad to your computer using the USB cable or lightning cable. Open iTunes and select the restore option.
If you restore on another computer, you can still unlock the device and remove the passcode, but your data and apps will be wiped.
Hope that helps!
