Unplug unit and remove the motor cover. there are two bolts that hold the incline motor in. one on top of unit and the other on the bottom of the lifting screw. make sure incline is all the way down. follow the wiring to the control board. removed them off the board noting which ones go where and color orientantion. instillation is reverse of removal

SOURCE: I have a nordic track a2350 and the belt stopped

This is usually related to the control pwb which is located under the motor "hood".
You can get this part from iconservice.com by going to the replacement parts section of the site and entering the model number of your machine, Which is located on the lower frame assembly below the walk belt. After you have receieved the part you can follow this procedure to repair it.

My Nordic Track Treadmill A2250 is stuck on the 12% incline position and it wont go back down and I have tried to reset it by turning it off, switching the reset button to off and then on or even unplugging it several times. What would be my next move?

First of all, here is the ONLINE USER'S MANUAL for that model:

This will open a new web browser page automatically for you and allow you to view the information at the website indicated or the contents of the Owner's Manual.

You may need ADOBE READER installed on your computer to read PDF documents.
You can download this free at WWW.ADOBE.COM if necessary.
Click on the DOWNLOAD ADOBE READER button on right side of the ADOBE home page when you get there.

See page 23 of the ONLINE USER'S MANUAL for detailed instructions on how check if the unit is in DEMO MODE.

When the console is in the demo mode, the power cord can be plugged in, the key can be removed from the console, and the displays and indicators on the console will automatically light in a preset sequence, although the buttons on the console will not operate.
If a D appears in the display when the information mode is selected, press the SPEED button so the display is blank in order to return to normal mode of operation.

See page 24 of the manual for other troubleshooting procedures such as resetting the motor breaker located near the power cord connection on the treadmill.

Dear Sir:
1) Lube the treadmill in according with the instruction manual.
2) The reason is lack of lube by maintenance, that produce enough friction with shut down for to protect electronic system.
3) Test the deck belt if is worn, and replace it.
4) Test the rollers bearings
5) See the bearing motor
6) Test the input voltage motor coming from the output from the main motor board,, use DVOM.
7) See my personal TIPS for HELP.

sincerely. God bless you

SOURCE: Why does my Nordic Track Reflex 4500 Pro incline automatically when I start it up?

You must tried again the s.calibration, for easy diagnose, and troubleshooting.
However you must Adjust the speed sensor, test it, clean it, and tight any plug or connector, see the diagrams attached and proceed according.
2) Lube the elevation motor, the shaft + gear, test the motor itself for open or short. see the diagram attached. If you machine use RELAIS test it for dirty, or open and repair.
God bless you

I have the EXP 2000 NordicTrack incline treadmill and it will not incline. Lost manual.

Manuals can be downloaded at http://www.iconservice.com/CustomerService/manuals
First perform an incline calibration.
Insert the safety key/magnet. Press the incline up button. While the numbers are changing, remove the key. Release the incline up button and reinsert the key/magnet. The machine should go to the top and then back to the bottom.
If it only starts then stops, the incline sensor may be defective. Be sure all the plugs are secure on the controller board.
If the sensor is defective, you will need to order a new incline motor..
If the incline motor does not move at all, the controller may be defective..

On my nordictrack a/2350 the incline stoped working what could be wrong?

Follow the instructions found in your manual for incline calibration first. With the safety key/magnet in, press incline up, remove the key while the numbers are changing, release the incline button then reinstall the safety key. The incline should calibrate.
If the motor moves, then stops b4 completing it's cycle, the incline sensor may be defective. The sensor is the black cap/wire coming out of the top of the motor. Make sure it is connected properly.
If the sensor is defective, you have to order the complete motor to repair the problem The sensor can be replaced without replacing the motor, but it is not available as a replacement part..

My treadmill is stuck in the max incline position

If the incline moves but only just a bit, it could be a problem as simple as the gearbox on the motor being jammed. We remove the motor from the treadmill, reconnect the wiring, and then try to run the incline motor outside the treadmill. Many times, this will unjam it if that is the problem and then reinstalling it in the treadmill will get it to work. If you have the same problem or it doesn’t run outside the machine and you can hear it try to work, you need to replace the incline motor.

I have a Nordic Track EXP1000i Treadmill. The

I know it's been months, but, if you still have this problem try this: 1. remove the philips screws holding the motor/belt/electronics cover on: you can lay the whole thing on it's side and remove them from the bottom. there's two in the front and two on the sides.
2. Obviously, unplug the unit! before doing anything. lay the unit back on it's feet (normal position)
3. Find the incline motor assembly. it will be int he middle of everything. black tube thingy.
4. take a cordless drill with a flat head screw driver bit, and turn the incline motor CCW. until the bed is flat.
5. what what I have read, you should shop for a new incline sensor. these fail before the motor does.
