Bosch WFF washing machine error codes:
E1 - The door is not closed and cannot therefore lock.
E2 - Washer will not fill with water.
E3 - Washing machine not heating.
E4 - Washing machine won't empty.
E5 - Fault in the motor drive circuit.
E6 - Unexpected heating.
E7 - NTC thermistor open or short circuit.
Please note that the codes for the WFF range of Bosch machines differs from other ranges.

connect at random. put on a rinse cycle. if cold water comes in then pipes are correct. if hot water comes in then pipes are wrong way round and just swap them

does it make any strange noises?
does it trip out the electics?

I did a quick search and it looks like you're looking for part number 1046685 .

Unplug it from the power source.
It should release it if not you have a sticky selenoid that locks your system.
If freed. great.. but you need to have that selnoid replaced, because it will happened again.
If the power interruption doesn't work, you need to dismantle your system.
If still under warrenty... Cal a service guy

Have you checked for any blockages, in the drain pipe? If that doesn't help you might have a bad pump, here's the part:
