We have several 42LN541C televisions. after playing for about 10 minutes they shut off. any other problenms that you heard of?

a good indication of one or more electrolitic capacitors failing or a cathode ray tube ie picture tube with a heat related internal short shutting down the high voltage system if this is a rear projection tv time to call a certified electronic tech

Is it 'heat'? I suspect that

The click sound is the thermostat. It closed and the allows power to the fan heater. The thermostat is faulty and won't allow you to select a higher heat setting.

When it shuts off and the green power light goes off, press both the menu and input buttons on the front of the set (not the remote) and hold both for about five seconds and release.

Power light will blink a two digit error code like 2 blinks and then 3 blinks and repeat it several times.

What is the error code?

Since you have a picture for 10 to 25 min., we know that nothing is directly shorted. Look for bad connections in power supply and horizontal circuit or possibly bad capacitors in power supply.

Check and replace swollen capacitors in power board.

hay if you fell it getting hot fast it's the heat transfer compound in the system which is wearing away causing it to over heat and shut down as a safety precaution. so there for it will keep freezing of shouting down.

Sounds like something is overheating causing the thermal protection to trip.

This model boards are not available, they have to repaired to the
component level. This 2001 Model is known to have problem with fluid on the PC boards (from crt's). You should get an estimate from another factory authorized service dealer, or you should think about buying another TV.

I have a DAEWOO PD46C10 recently it would come on display a beautiful picture play for 10 minutes and the screen would go black.After several minutes reset turn it on and the process starts again.Whats the problem and where can I get it repaired???????????
