When i try to open whatsapp messages i get "uncaught exception: java.lang.Nullpointer Exception". How do i solve this error?

Uncaught java.null. exception every time mention after I reboot my bold 9700

Can you use the BlackBerry, or is it locked up? It sounds like an application error -- did you just download or install a new application or game? If so, uninstall it and see if the error message goes away.

You can also try clearing your Java cache and all temporary files to see if that clears it up. Have you tried a battery pull?

When the phone is turned back on, I get the below message.

all you have to do is take out the battery and wait for 15 to14 minutes and enter the battery back in the back and turn back on the phone and thats all and good luck!!!!!!!

Hi, When attempting to access a corrupted call list database on the BlackBerry smartphone, the Uncaught exception:java.lang.NullPointerException error message appears: Isolate the corrupt data by turning on advanced logging for Intellisync. Turn on advanced logging for Intellisync. Once the corrupt data entry has been isolated, delete it from the desktop email client and the BlackBerry smartphone. I Hope it helped you. BB messenger error "Uncaught Exception: java.lang.null...

Hi,

When attempting to send messages from the BlackBerry device, the BlackBerry device user receives the following Java error called uncaught exception java.lang.illegal argument exception:

To over come this error you need to complete the following steps:
First, perform a full backup of the BlackBerry device data:
  1. Connect the BlackBerry device to the computer using the USB cable.
  2. Open BlackBerry Desktop Manager, and then double-click Backup and Restore.
  3. Click Backup.
  4. Save the backup file.
Run the application loader tool and erase all data on the BlackBerry device:
  1. In BlackBerry Desktop Manager, double-click Application Loader.
  2. Click Next.
  3. On the Device Security Password screen, type the BlackBerry device security password, and then click Next.
  4. On the Device Application Selection screen, click Next.
  5. On the Completing the Application Loader Wizard screen, click Advanced. The Device Data Preservation screen is displayed.
  6. Select the Erase all application data check box, and then click Next.
  7. Select Do not automatically back up and restore the device application data during the loading process, and then click Next.
  8. Click Finish. The BlackBerry device resets. This might take several minutes.
